Sure, but you aren't required to buy the classes in skyforge to unlock them. You simply grind. The locked races in NW however, cannot be unlocked by grinding. You must pay for them

The Githyanki is the newest race in Neverwinter, funny thing is, it wasn't even an option when they asked what new race we would want. what do you all think?

missed opportunity, imo. a new class would've made the community a lot happier. personally, I'd most like to see yuan-ti or warforged* as player races.

yeah but a new class isn't something they could do with their current staff. With what they have now, I think they did a good job.

I figured either Goliath or Gnome and I would've passed on a race reroll. I'm excited about the Gith and I would be willing to spend about 3000 zen. Of course it would depend on what is in the pack with the race unlock.

The gith race will be available free to VIP for the first 2 weeks of the module and afterwards free to everyone (including VIP) for the 2 weeks after that. After the initial 4 weeks, players who didn’t log in for the free gith will have to buy a pack to get access to this race.

with worlds full of magic i kept hoping it would be some sort of golem or troll race myself but it is what it is, sadly i lost my internet and would need to buy the race, but i think i'll wait to see what comes next, since there will be another update to the game coming in january of next year... peace.

While I was hoping for a bigger race (stature wise) Im not too turned off about the Gith, The race perks are pretty decent, and can be used in a variety of builds. Im more interested/worried about WHAT ELSE is going to be different.

@@NovaIIDBZII Ive noticed a pattern with Neverwinter and their Mods lately. Im sure you have too- That when a new mod is released, some mechanic is either altered or dropped. Im not saying that its gonna happen in Mod 17, but with the recent track record- I cant help but speculate.
