Don't know where to begin....one of the Baddest Bands to ever do it. Cyril's voice is on my top 5 along with David Ruffin , Marvin Gaye, Paul Williams and Maurice White. And the one time I met him, I told him so.The other musicians in the Band are awesome. And lastly , Willie Green , his playing is Magical !

Heard then in late 70’s and early 80’s here in Oregon and got to meet Mean Willie Green after one show - what an amazing person. Not just a great funky drummer with that New Orleans style, but a truly genuine gentle spirit. Love the sax and all the rhythm complements. So kewl.

Laid back and tight. Paradoxically. Almost no one can do this. They did it. Feels soooooo good.

I was blessed to see these four brothers live twice & so glad to be viewing this video snap shot from 85. Art Neville(Pappa Funk)- great singer/organist, Dr. Charles Neville-The Horn Man- and a singer on that sax with a most unique sound unlike any other(R.I.P.), Aaron Neville -The Voice-finally became an overnight sensation after only about 30 years in the game , and the baby brother-Mr.Soul-Cyrille Neville-great drummer & a voice that wakes the spirits. From the great city of New Orleans these four gents helped take that city's music to the world. I thank them for this uplifting music. Thanks for posting this video!

I was lucky enough to see and hear this amazing band throughout the late 70's / early mid eighties and beyond.. their music still inspires me to this very day to never give up playing music! And to top it all off, they are all very real / nice people. I remember reading an interview with "mean Willie Green' in a drum magazine and he was talking about making a soup (with real ingredients) and for me, it all tied in perfectly with how REAL this music is and will always be!
