Jesus Christ ….Southall talks so much sense about what’s happening in the modern game …. I grew up watching him & he was one of the best if not the best keeper ever ….. including the so called keepers of today

The younger viewers really need to check out Neville's best saves, the man was a monster in goal. I always remember as a West Ham fan when we used to play Everton, it was like, "Shit, Southall is in goal"!

Humble as ever but I think nev was the best in the world for a few seasons back in the day , and since he retired there’s never been another keeper since that gave you the safe feeling you had everytime you saw he was on the team sheet !! Class act big nev

I did run on the pitch when Everton came to Woking in the 90s for a friendly asked him for his gloves - and he told me to bugger off - I was about 13 , we had a laugh about it on Twitter since , but yeah love the guy , send me some gloves nev if your reading this
