I like your style of tour. It's like I'm walking along with you. Ship is chic and upscale and I just wish it had more social venues. If you want to dine in a variety of venues and such, this is your ship. If you love acrobatic shows in a state of the art theater, this is your ship. If you like infinity verandas, this is your ship. The deck spaces look brilliant and if that's your area, this ship delivers. The art work doesn't disappoint and is typical Celebrity provocative, fun, interesting. And the suite passengers get a treat in the retreat area. I'm a Celebrity type of cruise yet I'd pick the Royal Class Princess ship over this simply because it has so many swanky lounges for various purposes and dancing/music while they just didn't bother with them here. The Club is the only one and it's like a nightclub. That's the one area where this ship is very weak. Eden is kind of a work in progress but it seems popular enough. For hanging out in the daytime, that area is very nice. There's so much amazing looking food on display everywhere and that buffet looks extensive. Spa and tech look state of the art. My suggestion to Celebrity is make the Steak dining room a supper club. Add a bar and dance/club-like area to it as it has amazing views. That'll enhance the ship some.

Very useful to see the Deck Maps with the tour- thank you! We loved Apex last year in the Caribbean and will be back on in July this year for our Norway cruise! Apex was the ship that sold my husband on Celebrity- loved the atmosphere. The Martini Bar, Eden and Cafe al Bacio were favorite hangouts! I hope Jon is doing well! Thinking of you both and sending you the best.

Are you going on the 8 night Norwegian Fjords cruise? Jon and I are booked on it May 2024😊. Jon is doing really well so far. He had his 2nd treatment on Monday and he’s tolerating it pretty well this week. Last week was a little rough. Thankfully this week was more tolerable for him, thanks for asking❤️

Thankyou for the fantastic tour. I will be on the Apex in March for a family reunion. I get stressed out being a smoker and finding a place on the ship where I am welcome to smoke. Hopefully I will be able to quit before my cruise but if not I appreciate you letting me know where to go. The only thing that seems to be a problem is the lack of elevators on the ship. 3 of us going have mobility issues and it seems like there are only stairs at some locations.

Great 👍 video. Your tour was excellent to understand. I am trying to go into my first cruise. I am newly retired... but it will be a solo cruise. I was checking options for cabins. Some 🚢 offer single cabins without the supplement of double occupancy, I like the veranda cabins. Which deck will you recommend? I don't want to be far from the restaurants and the fitness center. However, when I reserve hotel rooms, I always request quiet ones. Any suggestions and advice are appreciated.thank you for the information.

The fitness center is located in the forward of the ship and the four main dining room restaurants are located in the mid/aft of the ship so your best bet would probably be a cabin that is located midship so that you are equal distance to both. Having said all that, we like decks 6-9 best since they are high enough from the sounds of deck 4&5 (most of the indoor public areas) and not directly below any of the pool/sundeck/ buffet areas. I hope this information is helpful to you. We are so excited for you on your first cruise and the Apex is a fabulous ship. Can I get trout as a fish on the celebrity apex , I’d like to have trout and eggs as a breakfast either in one of the dining rooms or as room service? Even some nice salads

Unfortunately, I don’t see trout on any of the menus on the cruise ship. I don’t know for certain, but in all these cruises that we’ve taken we have never seen trout on the menu. Did you do B2B Eastern and Western Caribbean, 14 days? What did you think of it, specifically the itinerary? I'm looking at doing this in January 2024 on the Apex. 😊

Hello Jennifer. Yes we did do a B2B eastern and western Caribbean, 14 day. Itinerary is a very personal thing. We have been to so many of the Caribbean islands many, many times. Sometimes we just chill on the ship on a port day and enjoy the mostly empty, beautiful ship. Having said that…we thought the itineraries were great. Key west is awesome and so much to do on your own. Belize, has some good excursions but not a whole lot to do on your own. Cozumel is awesome. So much to do on your own or an excursion. Grand Cayman is my favorite port. Such beautiful beaches, very close to port. East access, not over priced. -- San Juan is awesome…lots to do on your own or excursion, great city. Beautiful. St Thomas. Same, a great port. You can even go to st John by ferry from st Thomas. Tortola is beautiful but we don’t care for it because the roads are very treacherous and we are not comfortable with the driving skills of the locals. Not much to see at the port it self, everything is a good distance from the pier. I hope this helps. We are going on the Apex for 4 B2B 2/18 as long as all goes well with Jon. We will probably do some easy excursions and record so you’ll be able to see some of the islands in upcoming videos. Thanks for watching and commenting. We are here to help 😊

Texting will be fine, iMessage works great (apple to apple products), android not so much. Sorry coal media should be fine also but not as good for email. I hope this helps. The cruise fare was comped for us both on the cruise, yes. It was comped through the casino program called Blue Chip Club, based on our play in the casino on a previous cruise. We paid for the port charges & taxes, as we always do plus any extras that we wanted. We travel so much that we decided to start a KZbin channel and share our adventures/information with others.
