I hate to inform you that this doesn’t work at all. If I’m standing, the fishing rod just gets stored in the pot. And if I’m crouched, the rod doesn’t cast. And whenever I move the rod sound to see how to actually cast it into the water and the bobber finally casts. It just destroys the pot. Any other time that doesn’t break the pot, then the trap door just opens and I’m just breaking my fishing rod unnecessarily

2:11 but I used a fishing rod to get all my fish? I was surviving on fish for a time cause I got the fishing rod pretty early, just needed to kill some spiders, I only found one single carrot so far meanwhile I'm catching all the fish lol

You can set ticking areas with commands. Or you can set an alternate account to afk there. But, no, if the chunks aren't loaded - and you're not within your set sim distance - it won't keep running.

Fish can be a great early game food if you get a fishing rod and boat. No hunger issues or breathing issues. And if its a chest boat, the drowned cant jump in your boat.

Note: the pressure plate should also have sky access. I built this same farm and noticed even with lure 3 and Luck of the Sea 3, it was slow with very poor treasure. Then I knocked out the roof block directly over the pressure plate and it improved the speed and treasure tremendously. I suppose the game considers the position of the bobber when determining speed and loot.

You can kind of, place you controller in a way that its always is pushed.

It is, however, pretty easy to set up an auto-reel system so all you have to do is cast the line and wait to auto-catch the fish (I use waterlogged chests with signs and lava to force the retrieval). That greatly reduces the amount of work you have to do for fishing. Because my console likes to go idle and log off, I don't usually make idle farms - but one of these can give you something to do while you wait for an idle farm to work.

Let's not gloss over the dolphins so quickly. They are *neutral* mobs. Meaning don't hit them. DON'T hit dolphins. I definitely didn't accidentally hit a dolphin while breaking kelp & proceed to panic because I didn't know what was attacking me. 🙈

Double check that you’re placing all the blocks in the right place, at the right level. Also…double check that you’re playing Bedrock, not Java.

Don't need auto clicker - just need scotch tape - tape a piece of tape to your mouse clicker button to hold it down and boom you have a auto clicker 😀😁😂😁😀

Farm doesnt work for some. You have to be on mouse and key for example. Dont make a bedrock video unless you specify that you have to be on mouse and key.

Someone didn’t watch the whole video or do their own research. Auto fish farms work on plenty of devices with auto clicker apps, or by tying a rubber band around your console controller. Sheesh. Eat a snickers before you type an angry comment my guy. 🤣
