FINALLY, A COMMON SENSE REVIEW! The majority of the reviews I’ve read from other tech geeks nit pick about things I don’t care about or say get the larger size. I am an “average” iPad owner. I just upgraded to an 11 inch Air from an iPad 9th gen. I did it to get rid of the 9 before it depreciates any more. I wanted the M2 chip and 256 gb. storage so I could “future proof” myself from Apple’s confusing marketing shell game. I got $170.00 from Apple on trade-in and ended up with a $44.08 monthly payment on the Apple Card for twelve months. I am very happy with my decision. The Air 11 is faster, the dual speakers are enough for me, and it seems to weigh lighter in my hand. I hope this has been helpful!

@@angut9065 Yo don’t do it. Get an older pro, it’s a lot better. Trust me. You can get an 11 inch m2 pro at Best Buy for 610 and a 12.9 m2 pro for 810. It’s the m2 air but soo much better

I was very confused between 11 and 13 inch ones, and concerned about the 60Hz refresh rate. This review that shows a person actually properly using their ipad (opening apps, playing games) is more helpful than other specs reviews where they just flash their ipads from different angles or just scroll through apps on home screen.

I ended up upgrading from the 2017 10.5 inch pro model. I had that thing for seven years so I ended up going with 256 because I plan on keeping this iPad for that amount of time as well. I got a 3rd party pencil because I have no need for the pro pencil. Plus I just got one for my mini 6 and it was 120.00, I’m set. Excited to see how you use yours for future content.

Hi, Thanks for the kind words. As for screen protector I decided to put on the paper like for the 10.9 inch iPad 10th generation on since it had the same cut out for the camera screen seeing as that iPad already had the landscape camera orientation.

I had a M1 iPad Pro which I sold a while back I still have the Magic Keyboard case and pencil I currently have a m3 pro MacBook. I’m missing my iPad but I’m debating getting the air m2 or pro m4 I’m leaning towards air since I have the Magic Keyboard case already. I mostly want it for media and some light work flow on the go. I’ve just bought the Air 6, coming from an Air 5. I wouldn’t have bothered upgrading but I’ve almost filled the 64gb storage so need more! Gone with the purple M2 11” Air. Don’t need the bigger size for what I use my iPad for.

Honestly, the air 5 still rocks, it’s a beast with 4k video, never had any issues, though i am not a big gamer, but this air 6 is for newcomers, not those who have the previous generation, unless it’s the 13 inch model, which is tempting, but probably too bulky to carry around and use on the go.

I couldn’t agree more. There is no need to upgrade if you’re someone already on the iPad Air 5th generation. The new M2 iPad Air’s only have a few slight changes such as a new chip with the M2, the camera now in landscape orientation, Bluetooth 5.3 and WiFi 6E.

Just bought this iPad because it was $50 off and I got a $100 Apple gift card back (Student discounts right now). Best thing is they don't even verify if you're a student or not if you order online. Hey bro 👋, I too purchased the same model in starlight colour. I have a question for you. While playing music on the iPad, do you hear sound coming out of all the 4 speakers ? Or only 2 ? I noticed it's coming out of 2 only and I saw on KZbin videos, people were saying , since it is a stereo speakers, only 2 will work. Can you check yours and confirm me please ?

Unfortunately, according to Apple’s specs, there are only 2 speakers on the air. The iPad Pro on the other hand is the device with 4 working stereo speakers.

It’s gonna be something like very high with max frame rates and yes even an iPhone 11 can play in 50 fps with this setting so this device is gonna run with 60 fps. Will update you when I get my iPad this Friday and yes I am a codm player

Well the S9+ comes with an OLED screen which does look better than that of the one on the M2 iPad Air as that screen is LED, but the one on the M2 iPad Air does still look amazing.

In my opinion, I believe the iPad Pro M2 especially if you’re getting the 12.9 as it comes with the mini-led screen as well as pro motion. What’s great is the fact that you can get that iPad Pro for cheaper now so it’s definitely worth the value.

I find the 128gb base model to be good enough for my needs with the M2 iPad Air. You can’t go wrong with either but I rather the newest one as it will be provided more future updates as it’s brand new whereas the M1 Air has been out for some time.

If your focus is on study and netflix then go with 11 inch pro model because it has oled ,120 hz and its easy to carry. If you are on budget constraints go with the air model. Games will pretty much same on both the devices. I had an m2 13 inch pro model which i cannot hold for too long mostly i watched netflix using the case which i used as stand. For games 13inch becomes a burden.

I guess it depends on what you’re trying to do with your new iPad. For example, if you have the iPad 10th Generation and are looking to get into editing whether photo or video then this would definitely be a good upgrade.

I bought the iPad Air m2 128gb, it's my first iPad, and I use it for taking notes, studying and for leisure activities. in conclusion I am VERY disappointed with the battery. Using ONLY KZbin I consumed 53% of the battery in 2 hours and 43 minutes (I timed the time) which for me is unacceptable from a device like this. I'm already forced to leave the house with a power bank...

There’s a lot of stuff you can do to prolong battery life, off the top off my head, disable location services, app background refresh, auto updates, push notifications, bluetooth, turn off live wallpapers, put screen timeout at 2 mins, and don’t use full screen brightness. If you’re watching videos non stop on full screen brightness with all those settings turned on, you will be lucky to get 5-6 hours.

In my opinion, I would say the m2 iPad Pro as it comes with Pro Motion and if you’re going to get the 12.9 model then even better as that model comes with the Mini-LED screen
