Im a pothos collector i love new types. I grow the propagations out of my fishtank.. they climb a fishnet and the leaves are massive. Even jade and pearls can get big.

It's been a hot minute, maybe 2 yrs since I watched a houseplant tour at a big box store. Painful reminder of ALL the plants that did not survive my houseplant journey. Makes me want to try some of them again. So nice to see so many historically 'rare' plants become more accessible.

I'm so jealous. The 4 home Depots on my side of Michigan have nothing but poinsettias and cactus 😢. Tempted to drive the 4 hours to your home Depot. There were 8 plants I would have snatched up. Of course I don't have room, (already have 85 plants) which means I would have to make room in the den and get more grow lights.

You’re lucky Ashley, I live in Oregon and none of the beautiful plants you saw at Home Depot or Lowe’s are stocked at any location here in the Northwest. Also, the plants these stores do have are at least 20-30% more expensive than what you found them for where you are. Luckily there’s a few nurseries in the city but I’d love to find deals like you do 😢

It hurts seeing these plants I spent a lot of money on several years ago for $4. 😵 I need that choco red. It reminds me of an alocasia but hopefully less obnoxious to keep happy? The philodendron name is Rio looks similar to the Brazil, but has white and some reddish in the stem. At least mine does. Thank you for your fabulous videos.

I am absolutely blown away by how many plants there are and the huge selection!! The Home Depot's by me have very few plants and I've been to two different ones near me and several different occasions 😢 the Lowe's near me usually has a pretty nice selection which is nice, but the last time I went there wasn't much Edit: I live in Louisville, KY

Love Fernandos fire pothos. Variagation is more yellow and pronounced. I got mine early spring and grows fast.

I’m in south west Gulf Coast Florida, and our selection of plants at any Lowes or Home Depot is always the same, small, way more expensive and very few sales if any. I lived in the west coast for one year…it was the same. Very few private nurseries that sell anything beyond run of the mill landscape plants. 😢

Your Home Depot is so much better than the ones near me! I found a Mythic Rumpelstiltskin Elephant Ear Alocasia (Sinuate) and an Aglaonema Red Star. The alocasia had a corm sprouting on it. Good finds but you have so much variety. Jealous...

I just went to Lowe’s, I got a pink princess philodendron for half off ($10) two moonshine snake plants half off ($7) and a dracaena(?) for $11 half off as well. But when I sprayed the dracaena with my pest deterrent some leaves had spots the next morning??

Went to Lowes yesterday and was so excited to see 5 very full metal racks they use for shipping plants, and all the plants still had the clear cellophane sleeves on them, and I thought "yeah, a new plant delivery." It was two racks of holiday cactus and three racks of poinsettia. And they were all dead. I'm guessing maybe they experienced cold weather shock. 5 brand new carts of plants all equally dead and limp. So sad 😢

Again - it's just so terrible that here in Brooklyn the amount of plants that Home Depot has here is like nothing compared to the places that you go to it's terrible, I've been getting my plants at Lowe's and I actually got a big Chinese Evergreen with the pink and green leaves yesterday half price for only $10, and I got a snake plant for only $7, and they came in really nice self-watering pots!

It's 12/20/24 in NE TN and the Lowe's where I shop and where I just came back from today, has almost all of their inventory gone, except for X-mas stuff - wreaths, trees, etc. How come you're in Michigan and those stores have zillions of plants? BTW, I just bought a second Queen Pothos which I'm going to try to get it acclimated to my fish tank.

I bought one of those burgundy Ficus plants at Home Depot a few weeks ago and was surprised to find it had gold flecks on the leaf margins. I don't know it that is normal for Ficus or not.
