Yeah, the FJR was getting me speeding tickets, and it wasn’t the kind of bike where an old man like me could sit up straight on a big plush saddle so, sadly, I sold it. Now I’m looking at the Kawasaki Versys 1000. All that power again but in a less sporty posture. Super Tens are loved, and at one point I told myself I would never sell my FJR.

The Super Tenere is more at home in low speed riding in 1st gear the suspension doesn’t like much higher speeds beyond 80

I just trade in my beloved 2017 super tenere for a 2023 FJR. Guess what? I have no regrets! I think you will love it!

That's true. I was on my toes at stops. At some point in my motorcycle life that stopped bothering me. As a newer rider, that tall height would be a deal-breaker.
