I love that truck man! I wanted to comment on the stereo. U mentioned it’s not that good but I realized if you hook up ur phone to it,it sounds GREAT!

Yep, I noticed it sounds better with a ipod/phone hooked up but, I would strongly recommend a 2500 over a 1500. The 2500 is more truck like and feels much sturdier/capable compared to the 1500's car like feel and I get a little sea sick feeling in the 1500 if I'm in it for more then an hour as to the 2500 that has a much better.firmer ride.

I made this video and it's about the truck but, I made a comment about I'm happy the truck is made in the USA. This comment has gotten a lot of attention and I would like to expand my thoughts on that comment. The reason I made that comment is because the labor practices in both China, Mexico and I'll include India are basically SLAVE LABOR MARKETS. These employees are paid practically nothing compared to a Western 1st World worker.These folks in these previously mentioned countries are being taken advantage and the companies are making a ton of money off of slave labor. In the future or I should say in a 100+ years from now when we are judged by our descendants as a society, we will be known as the capitalist slave generation. This name will have been earned because our businesses will have enslaved the people of 3rd world countries. Then again, some will say the 3rd world countries are happy to have these slave labor jobs that literally pay nothing along with very few safety regulations and no health benefits. I could understand that opinion but, why not pay these people the same pay/benefits as Western 1st World people? The answer is called GREED. Our gov shouldn't allow the western worker compete with slave labor and this needs to be stopped. Like I said previously, our generation will be known as the modern Slave Labor generation and the sad part is we as a society know better......! EDIT: I also wanted to mention, my comment in the video was not racially motivated but, it was a moral / social responsibility statement.

Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Z71 is the best half ton truck on the market. This video is not very good at all. You don't seem to know what your talking about I think you should keep your day job. By the way if you make the proper a judgments to the radio it sounds great.

I'm not saying I'm a Silverado expert, I clearly stated in the begging of the video that this was the first time I was in the truck and didn't know much about it but, we'll go over it and take it for a ride. That's pretty much straight forward as to how the video will proceed and this video will give a viewer a glimpse into the new truck. As far as the stereo sound quality, that is subjective, everyone has a different expectation. Thanks for watching / commenting

As for the stereo you can adjust the Bass, fade and other settings based on the type of music you are listening to or just to suit your taste. It is a nice truck. Have a great day

Oh yea, I'm a truck guy. I drive Dodge's but, I like all trucks. My favorite year Chevy trucks would be a 95/96 Z71 but throw in the modern drive train, those older Chevy's were really stout....anyways. My sister's Silverado is very nice and runs/stops very well. My only complaint was the radio and I said the same thing when my sister bought her new 2012 new Silverado video that I also have posted. I'm accustomed to aftermarket stereo's so, that could be a factor but. there's something not right as far as I'm concerned with the sound quality. The same stereo/head unit is in the new Camaro's and what a difference. The Camaro's stereo sounds fantastic and no need for any aftermarket upgrades. Check one out and you'll see what I mean and that goes for either the base stereo or the Bose system. Anyways, I took no offence prior.

I had a 2011 and 2014 Silverado Z71 but honestly, I preferred my 2015 Laramie Longhorn limited edition. And also, the way you mentioned China and Mexico, it was racial and not moral. It's like Mexican say fucking American truck.

Hey.....I'm American and I hate seeing American Jobs moving out of the country and there is nothing racial in that statement plus. why don't the Mexican worker get the same pay as an American worker? Everything starts breaking on it soon as the warranty expires along with electrical gremlins soon after buying your new GM/Chevy product. As far as GMC, it's a 1000 to 1 ratio compared to chevy sales so, not as many people complain.

No, you thinking very basic. In the 30 years that I have been driving I have seen it time and time again. Not just me but, others.....friends, family, car shows, mechanics and co-workers. Just like the GM commercials state, JD Powers BS award of best of initial quality.....GM cars are great for the 1st year or 2 but, after that they have a lot of problems. I'm sure there are internet people that will say that "I never had a problem; all I ever did was oil changes, brakes and a battery in 10 years 200K miles". Yea, okay....you only hear this on the internet but, nobody in person has ever said that to me but, they wholeheartedly agree with what I stated. It's only younger people buying GM products, they haven't been screwed over yet but, they will soon find out. LOL good luck with that Chevy....
