Ford has launched the updated Figo in India with prices starting from Rs 5.15 lakh (ex-showroom India). The Figo has received some cosmetic changes, new petrol engines and there are feature additions in all variants as well.
2019 Ford Figo Price and Variants: Ford has consolidated the variant lineup of the Figo and it’s now available in only three variants: Ambiente, Titanium and Titanium Blu. Both the petrol-manual and diesel-manual powertrains are available in all variants, but the petrol-automatic powertrain can be had in the Titanium variant only. Variant-wise (ex-showroom India) prices of the 2019 Figo are as follows:
Petrol-manual
Ambiente: Rs 5.15 lakh
Titanium: Rs 6.39 lakh
Titanium Blu: Rs 6.94 lakh
Petrol-automatic:
Titanium: Rs 8.09 lakh
Diesel-manual
Ambiente: Rs 5.95 lakh
Titanium: Rs 7.19 lakh
Titanium Blu: Rs 7.74 lakh
Prices of all variants of the 2019 Figo are lower than those of the respective variants of the outgoing model (considering Titanium Blu replaces the Titanium+ variant).
2019 Ford Figo Features: Since Ambiente is the Figo’s base variant now, dual front airbags and ABS with EBD are now standard on the Figo. Other key standard features include tilt steering, front power windows, day/night IRVM and rear parking sensors.
The Figo’s Titanium variant is also more feature-rich than before as it now gets a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, day/night IRVM, rear parking sensors and camera and push-button start. These features were not a part of this variant before. The automatic Figo additionally gets electronic stability program, traction control and hill-launch assist.
The top Titanium Blu variant is also more feature-rich than the previous top Titanium+ variant of the Figo. Apart from the segment-first six airbags, it gets rain-sensing wipers, auto headlamps and leather-wrapped steering wheel too. This variant features the same 7-inch infotainment as the Titanium variant. In comparison, the Aspire’s top-spec variant features a 6.5-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity and Ford’s SYNC3 tech, unlike the Figo’s 7-inch unit.
2019 Ford Figo Colour options: The Figo is available with seven monotone colour options: red, silver, blue, black, grey, gold and white. Dual-tone exterior colour options in the Titanium Blu variant include white-black, silver-black and grey-black.
2019 Ford Figo Performance: The new 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine of the Figo makes 96PS of maximum power and 120Nm of peak torque. It’s paired with a new 5-speed manual transmission. Ford claims that this powertrain returns 25.5kmpl of fuel efficiency.
There's a new 1.5-litre petrol engine in the lineup as well. It is rated to develop 123PS of maximum power and 150Nm of peak torque. This engine is available with a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission only. Ford claims 16.3kmpl fuel efficiency for the petrol-automatic drivetrain.
The only diesel engine in the Figo lineup is the same 1.5-litre unit that makes 100PS of maximum power and 215Nm of peak torque. This powertrain is rated to deliver 25.5kmpl fuel efficiency.

On the other hand, if you mostly go on off-roading then you may also look for Freestyle. Moreover, we would suggest you take a test drive of both the cars before making any final decision.

+Digesh Kamlesh Shaah Well both the car cars are good enough. If we talk about Figo, the Titanium variant gets a healthy dose of extra features added to its kitty. It looks upmarket on the out and well equipped on the inside for a car of its price. But it commands a premium of Rs 1.70 lakh over the 1.2MT (96PS/120Nm) petrol Figo, which in our opinion is a bit too steep. On the other hand, Elite i20 Magna Executive is the bare minimum that you should be picking up in the Elite i20. It gets features like rear AC vents, electrically adjustable ORVMs and cooled glovebox that you can’t get in the base variant post purchase. And that makes upgrading to Magna Executive from Era worth the extra money. How we wish this variant included rear parking sensors as well.

But what seriously puts the Figo back in the game is the Dragon series petrol engine, which is more engaging than the outgoing unit. With the petrol-diesel fuel price difference narrowing, a good petrol engine was the need of the hour for the Figo to remain in contention. The variant that you can consider is Titanium Blu variant which gives the sport looks and bunch of features.
