Cardekho.com with each videos you guys are climbing new heights, Fantastic work and excellent videography, audio ,recording,smart effects and nice details, short yet informative, The only problem with Figo DCT is RELIABILITY, the DCT 150,200 used by Ford are notorious for failures, I wish Ford had put a regular 6 speed AT instead of DCT, sure it might rob a little bit of drama but reliability is more important in AT cars and the Getrag DCT dry clutch gearboxes are terrible for reliability

Took test drive of Aspire Auto. I was surprised with the powerful pick up. U must test drive it to believe its power. Must say its on par with the TDCi motor. However the mileage on the MID showed 9.5 kmpl. Now thats very low. Request you to throw some light on the difference between DCT and Ti VCT technology.

Hello Bunny, since the time i have been driving cars not once i have looked beyond Toyota. However, i am planning to purchase an automatic car for my local commute in Mumbai. As you must be well aware of the chaotic traffic in mumbai, my preference is strictly automatic for this very reason. Now, after considering the few options available in the market i have decided to choose between Polo gt Tsi and Ford figo Dct. I have driven both the cars but the duration of my drive on the ford figo was only for short time. Hence, kindly let me know if Ford Figo DCT is a sprightly performer on the highway and what is the top speed of the car? Though, stretching the budget shouldn't be a constraint i would like to restrict the budget cap at 8 odd lakhs. Any revert on the above questions would be appreciated.

Yes, the Figo AT offers good performance in city and on the highway,however, the on-road price will cross 8 lakh for the Figo AT or even the Polo GT TSI.

+MD. IMRAN SULTAN Hey! It certainly is a myth that automatics are not meant for the hilly regions. The automatic gear box will perform well. However, it is recommended that you change to manual mode when going down hill. That is, switch to the sport mode (S) and use the gear selector button on the lever to change gear. The Figo AT has hill launch assist too which will help you in tricky uphill sections!

If you are at high altitude better go for a diesel or a turbocharged petrol like the polo gt. Naturally aspirated petrols struggle at high altitude

+Sunny Gupta True. Polo GT TSI is a hot hatch, no doubt, it's DSG gearbox is phenomenal, but it does too have a lot of reliability issues, the same gearbox even in Skoda. Figo has better practicality, it provides a decent sporty performance, has good space overall in terms of rare knee room, boot space, and more over around 2 lakhs cheaper than GT TSI. Figo may not be shoulder to shoulder with its German rival, but it manages to get close to it without fuss. VW also has a very sketchy after sales. Hopefully Ford have improved them.

Negatives would be the rubber band effect, and build quality. Good for sedate city driving. Has ABS and airbags as safety features, but also lacks the solid build quality. 2. JAZZ CVT: Good KMPL, good cabin space. Maintenance on a little higher side. Resale is ?ble. Negatives would be rubber band effect again. Good for sedate city driving. S mode is not what it has to be. 3. Figo DCT: Avg KMPL, Enough cabin Space. Maintenance on a littler higher side from Maruti. Resale is again ?ble. Good for sedate city driving as well as some sporty driving in S mode on highways. Now if your usage is more in city, then you can go for any of the above-mentioned 3 cars, the KMPL difference b/w all machines will be 1 to 2 L and again it depends on how you drive these automatics.

It is a decent performer. However, the mileage that you get out of your car depends on how you drive and in AT it is usually less as compared to manual but 8 KMPL is way too less, you can expect 13-15 KMPL.

Hey, as per the daily running, petrol variant will be more economical when it comes to the overall running cost. If you are looking for a hatchback that is trendy, has loads of features and ample amount of space, the Tiago fits the bill nicely. Everything from the styling, interiors, engine and performance and reliability has been thought about in Tiago.

+Amit Kaushal Well, its good to hear that you are planning for a new car and we appreciate your choice as both the cars are one of the best car in its respective brand's lineup. Talking particularly about Figo Trend and Swift VXI - Both the cars have similar power figures on paper so yo can expect similar performance but the difference come in the features. Figo is well equipped and has better features and yes, it is more safer too. In terms of build quality also, Figo has a upper hand over Swift. The mileage figures are almost same for both the cars so it won't make much difference however, Maruti has unmatched sales and service network. Maintenance wise, Swift will be a better option but if you prefer performance, go with Figo. In addition, the all-new Swift will be launched later this year or early next year, so keep that thing in mind before you make a final call.
