I have no of the new 2022 models, I have some Thomas Wood but I HATED the 2018 Thomas Wood so I stuck with my older ones I'm had for like 4, 5, 6 or 7 years. I really want the new 2022 ones now that I realise how even the really old ones before Thomas Wood, hoe, lack of real detail compared to the 2022 version.

I pretty much have all the 2022 Wooden Railway engines except I’m missing a few in which I don’t even want. I love this new range along with the cool details these engines have. It could use improvements such as the faces, but overall I’m impressed with this range. If only they made more new stuff.

It's so weird that there's another alternate Tomas happy face in this format. But hey I guess more variety the better. However I know you also have the 2022 Wooden Railway engines but they have old elements from classic TWR such as the normal wheels and the 3D faces I think Nathan TWR Critic made those for you but I could be totally wrong. Ashamed you didn't show that version of Thomas in here as well. Anyway I can't wait to see more videos Chase!

Honestly, I like the original wooden railway CGI seasons-based Thomas better, like the one from 9:38-10:14 I mean, and since I wish a lot of changes for every episode and CGI season that started from season 19-24, I wish that the episodes of those seasons wouldn't have terrible endings and show good ones like in the old CGI seasons of Thomas and friends, having Diesel's voice still be played by Michael Brandon like in seasons 14-16, showing that Diesel's appearance in the old CGI seasons of Thomas and friends that Diesel has that light on top of his face which he, Paxton, and Sidney started having on top of their faces in seasons 19-24, and so much more changes for the looks of the characters and everything in every episode and season of Thomas and friends that I wish for too.

For my opinion on the model, it was a great one having a mix up with 1992, 2003, and 2018 wood models mashed into this 2022 New TWR Model we know today

To this day, I wish they had done more characters for this range. Even though I’m grateful for the offerings we got, it would have been so nice to see several other characters like Duck, Bill and Ben, Salty, Victor, Bertie and so on. Off subject, but do you plan on doing a review on the interactive learning railway? That’s a line I hardly know about and the limited videos of the range don’t give nearly as much information as your reviews do. It would be great getting a look at the engines and destinations from that range that you own too.

In my opinion, the 2022 Thomas Wooden Railway line was the last really useful thing Mattel did with Thomas, as it was a huge improvement over the disaster that was Thomas Wood. I got a few engines from that line in 2022, namely because I wanted characters like Edward, Toby, Nia, Rebecca, Kevin, and Kenji to have models that were more accurate to their TV series counterparts than their Wood models. I also got Rosie for her red livery and Percy for his surprised face (since that's perfect for episodes like "Percy Takes the Plunge" and "A Scarf For Percy"). Unfortunately, rather than keep a good thing going by expanding upon the line with new characters in the following years, at most, Mattel only releases new variants of Thomas for their "Day Out With Thomas" events. If I were running the Thomas Wooden Railway line in 2023, I'd have had new models of characters like Duck, Donald, Douglas, Oliver, and Toad released early that year because I know they're who the fans want and who will sell well. Right now I feel that Thomas Wooden Railway trains can only be great again if another company, such as Orbrium, acquires the license. Orbrium makes their products specifically with Thomas Wooden Railway in mind, and they actually released new items in 2023; new unpainted engines for the fans to customize as they please, train sets involving a medieval castle and a national park with a spiral mountain, and a track maintenance crew (which I did a Wooden Railway Discussion on). I've cut ties with Mattel last year and I will continue to do so until they put right everything they've damaged since late 2017.

The wooden railway 2022 Thomas is great. I love the rivets and the handrails, which is definitely based on season 23 to 24 and I like the firebox glow and some of the other details. The wheels themselves are all right for what they are alright. I do like the printing on them because it is accurate on what you see in the show. As for the face, it's really nice. I do like the face being a little bit cheeky and the eyes pointing on his right As for the other versions of Thomas, I think that they are pretty good too including the figurate set Thomas because of that awesome face.

Apart from the wheels and some of the faces, I’m really impressed with Wooden Railway 2 (as I like to call it). It’s just a pity we haven’t gotten much from the range after 2022. Hopefully there will be more stuff released in next year for the 80th anniversary of the Railway Series.

I really like how the 2022 Thomas looks. Its face and body build gives me 1999 Thomas vibes with is my favorite Wooden Thomas ever! It even has the lip on Thomas’s back. Even though 199 Thomas is my favorite. 2022 Thomas has to be my second favorite. As for the custom. I love it, it looks pretty good. I just don’t like the white dots in the eyes

Only went with WR2022 Edward, Henry, James and Rosie. Henry is peak, James is second best, Edward’s nice but suffers from a wonky face and overly tall funnel and cab (reducing backwards compatibility with WR1992-2017), and Rosie is about the same quality as her original model. It’s a shame that Wooden Railway 2 had so much stacked against it (the failure of Wood, the lack of destinations, the lack of risers, the lack of rolling stock, and the lack of dedicated stores like your local mom and pop shop or Toys R Us) because this toyline felt like a genuine apology for how awful Wood was.

Things we NEED! For the new wooden railway first: Duck, since Duck is returning in all engines go we must have a new wooden railway Duck. Second: Donald, the Scottish twin just like Duck, must be in the new line, (if they release one) it would be fantastic since Donald and Douglas did not even had new modes. Third: Douglas, just like Donald he NEEDS to be included, just like Donald he did not even have a new model. Fourth: Oliver, now just like all three he NEEDS to be here, two models just like Duck and if we need Oliver we need… Fifth: Toad, if we had Toad he MUST be in a double-pack with Oliver, just look at Nia and her Zoo car AND THEY BETTER DO HIM BACKWARDS NOT FOWARD LIKE HIS FIRST MODEL. Sixth: Any other type of brake van, I meen The only brake van we got was spiteful brake van and Toad. Seventh: Troublesome van, what can I say? We all need a troublesome van we only had ONE model and we need more than just… TRUCKS. Eighth: the only set I had a idea of: Dirty work at the coal hopper, this will include: a dirty or coal dust James, A dirty or coal dust Thomas or Percy (but don’t call him D-I-R-T-Y Percy), four troublesome trucks with nothing on them, four loads of coal for the trucks, the ever so forgotten spiteful brake van, a coal hopper that you shake, put the coal loads in the trucks and put the loads in the hopper, straight tracks, left and right switches, three buffers, for more adding a water tower, a turn table and finally… THE FFARQUHAR SHEEDS!!!!! For season two and also if you guys try to know how the set would look like tell me and I will try to figure out how it would look like and the one that makes the best will be the WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINER!

I only own the TWR 2.0 troublesome trucks and I'm not sending them back because the recall was not for lead paint. I like the details but I don't like the face, wheels or proportions. I've never liked standard edition characters where their eyes aren't looking straight such as some 1993/94 engines and I don't like how the Thomas face keeps getting younger. at least a few TWR 2.0 is a massive upgrade from Thomas wood
