Hi Joanna!! I’m an interior designer down in Sarasota, FL. I would suggest or try turning the sectional so if you are sitting down the windows are behind your back and the other part of sectional would face towards the console. Next I would take the chair and face it towards the windows and possibly getting another chair. Hope this helps!! 😊

Mommy life just doesn’t stop lol. I put on my chores thing like washing in washing basket, plates to the sink, helping with their lunches etc. we are not home a lot so there is not a lot of time for them to do much more. But these things help me out a lot so I’m happy with that for now. Loved the motivation today.

Yes its good to teach kiddos the little life skills along the way. You do great. The hangers and socks are a great idea!! other things that kiddos can do to help is garbage, washing the car, bedrooms, Meal planning, groceries, restocking cabinets from groceries, lawn care, etc. I also had my kids help with laundry in increments. (one part at a time until they felt confident that they knew each step) I know you have your kiddos help you, thats great. When I left Home I didn’t know how to do a lot of things because my parents wouldn’t let me “you wont do it right”. (My husband taught me how to do laundry as well as MANY other things ) and my Sister in Law taught me how to cook. So I love when I see parents teaching kids life skills. it’s so important. You’re doing an amazing Job. Your kids are precious. 💞💞

I just had my first "blow out only" on my hair for my niece 's wedding on Saturday-- then we had torrential rain and hail! We couldn't get out of the car for 15 minutes. It was an outside ceremony, so when there was a lull in the rain, they started, but it started to rain part way through-- umbrellas up! My hair was a little frizzy by the end of the night 🤣 It's supposed to be good luck if it rains on your wedding day-- my niece will have the best marriage ever since it rained buckets! No big summer plans. Your trip to Mexico sounds awesome! ❤

I am the same way with sleeping- I have to have something heavy on me. I invested in a weighted blanket many years ago and it is the best! And mine isn’t heavy enough to be hot when I sleep.

I really like your method of folding laundry. I’ve adopted it and I find that I actually put it away rather than taking it out of the dryer and putting it in a hamper and having it sit there forever.

Re: using the steam mop on LVP, I recommend going with what the manufacturer says. You don't want to take chances with that!

Hi Joanna maybe you could plug the hole in your steam mop with something e.g small balloon or small cloth that way the water won’t spill out. Also your holiday to Mexico being all inclusive which we have done half a dozen times now my recommendation would be to tip heavily the first couple of days it’s amazing the difference in the service you get especially at the bars 🍺 your glass will never be empty if you keep tipping the staff. Hi .Joanna! When you start to travel a lot you will begin to see that over packing is crazy! I’ve traveled on a cruise to Alaska, and to Caribbean , flown to Hawaii, to Switzerland and Germany and places in USA. But putting your clothes on carry on is the best. You get smart about what you take. I stay put now, beach is close by me. You have little ones to care for…that is hard enough. My hot water mop is my go to! It’s HOT in Florida..my AC is summer treat! 🌴🌴🇺🇸❤

My steam mop lost the screw top to hold the water in as well. I actually took a mini beauty blender and stuffed it in just far enough to plug the water. It's a great quick fix and won't leak. Easy to put in and out.

I’m pretty new to your channel and I love that you asked such a random question about your door lol I will be more cognizant of the setup of your home!! I’m going to assume that closed door was to the toilet? Also, always pack an empty pillow case in your suitcase so if it’s overweight you can stuff the pillow case with clothes and carry it as a “personal item” and use it as a pillow on the flight 😂

Never throw any part of your bedding on the floor whilst its still in use . Especially if you have animals that lose hair etc . I just sleep with a sheet on me when the hot weather comes here in Australia with the air conditioner on low all night .❤
