Great video!! I use glass all the way. Don’t like plastic plates to eat. I used them only for my children when they were small. Kids don’t remember how many toys they had, it’s the memories we create for them. Having a house filled with toys is overwhelming.

I live alone and some sets had missing or chipped pieces etc. I culled down to 2 settings of two, and as I live alone this is plenty. I kept most of my mugs for tea etc. I culled duplicate utensils, so far I haven't needed anything I got rid of. I'm still putting off decluttering emotional stuff, but I do a bit each day.

I use both glass for storage and real Tupperware (not rubbermade). I freeze divided meals in glass when I make a recipe for my husband and myself. I suffer with chronic pain and it's nice to pull a meal out on harder days. This week I made chili and a pasta meal.

Sweetie, don’t worry about what other think it’s your home. You can do and have whatever you like. My house it’s always clean cuz I suffer from extremely bad anxiety but I have been trying to get some stuff done lately. It’s baby steps. Let me tell you this, when someone comes over I apologize for the house looking the way it does but to be honest I really don’t care what they think. I do try to keep the main stuff under control but it’s life.

Great declutter. I would make one suggestion u have cups kids cups and utensils in several different places. Maybe next time u work on the kitchen pull all these alike items out together and u will c if u have multiples of different items. Enjoyed the video today.

Hello, first time here! Love what you're doing! I put my toaster in a cabinet as well, but if you store it in a "locker bin" from the now $1.25 tree the crumbs will never be all over. My exact one is what you have the medicine in. I use glass pyrex bc they can go from the freezer, to the oven or microwave, and they're good on the go! Have a blessed day!

You are doing great. My house is a hot mess, but it’s easier to see what I would do with YOUR stuff. 😅 I’d put the toaster on a small tray (wood?) you could pull it out and use it right in the tray and it would contain the crumbs. I would store the glass storage with the lids on. They would still stack and probably not take up both sides of the cupboard. Would look simple and clean. You are inspiring me to get busy. 😊

I think we’re all creatures of habit. We find things we love but have to have the newest thing or color. After spending a year of decluttering I’ve found both me and my son honestly each have two cups and the rest are just cupboard decorations. I don’t decluttering with the does it spark joy… do I use it regularly or is there another similar item that is used more often and this has made my process of getting rid of 60% of my belongings so much easier. You’re doing great! Glad I found your channel. Happy decluttering

Karla, just love how you love coffee, not me mine is tea, no judgement here.( people that judge are people that have nothing better to do, dont let them get to you💛) I got rid of a lot of my coffee cups because iI can only use 3 at a time, one for me to drink out of, one for the dishwasher, one for the sink when the dishwasher is to full and not yet put away 💖. Can you make some lables for your vitamin container and Josh med, ect then it might help because you can read the container with out having to pull it down🧡. Can you get a portable Shelf that would go over the container that you have the coffee next to in that cabinet if yes you put a portable shelf above it and all your seasonal hand towels up there and bring your coffee down closer to you so that you can have it without stretching or having to get up the stuff store you only use seasonal towels during the season that they were meant for. My other suggestion was your seasonal towels is get a tote like you do for Christmas decorations and put them in it and label it seasonal towels you can divide them up according to Seasons by using cardboard dividers that is something I do ant it really has waorked for me, because I keep it with my decorations so I never lose it but of course remember to label the storage container so you know what's in it it will make it easier you wont have to open it 💙. Yes it's good to donate mix match dishes because other people might have a set and they'll be looking for that piece that you donated never feel guilty about giving something away just because it doesn't match what you have💜. Karla if Josh is not complaining about the amount of kid toys then chill your doing great and he see's that.🌻 You are amazing and dont you forget it 🤗🌹🌻🤗

I used plastic containers because I worry the kids might drop the containers that are glass. I use glass containers for leftovers but for lunches and stuff kids reach for plastic is safer for us. I agree though I prefer the glass over the plastic containers .
