Bought the emerald AMG. Looks black in low light but the green emerald shines as the sun hits it, fantastic! Ride is superb, the 580 is superb. Only issue you might have is charging, a week after I bought it, took a trip to Tucson from Phoenix. Coming back I stopped at Electrified America to charge up with my free 30 minutes (for 2 years) and it would not charge. Called EA, they preauthorized me, but nothing. Made it back, took the 580 to Mercedes and they ran test and found 4 SW errors, 3 WEEKS later I finally got the 580 back. Drove to Flagstaff (mileage is not great- about 220 on flat elevation with 20% left as safety), Winslow and painted desert, no issue charging. But it does make you perspire when you are far from home and it doesn't charge. Hopefully you won't have this issue. Love the 580, smooth as silk and quiet.

The best thing about this car is the dash board screen, soon as i saw the seats and the rest of the interior, no way is this car worth anywhere near 140,000 Euro, when you can get a Kia EV6 GT for half that price and is 4WD 600bhp!

looks like merc has coppied the TOGG EUV, but made it better and more luxury. Comparing the front lights, grill and the fog light vents so similar. Cockpit full screen idea is same but taken it to spaceship level like in Galaxy movies. Very nice though. Respect the German Engineering...

Nice Vehicle but in America the rear style is a no go! Looks like a MiniVan in the back and no one will buy it to be called a Soccer Mom lol 😆 😂 . But it's nice, just need to make the rear look like a G Wagon or GLB if you want to have a lot of sales in America 🇺🇸 . Also we drive a lot here. So the Mile range should never be less than 500 or 540 miles. Because petroleum vehicles range is 460-560 miles. Need to make it road trip friendly

Mercedes has always made better cars than Tesla and this one is not an exception - a magnificent vehicle but it is a terrible EV. Pretty much has the same range with highway speeds as the Model Y but it has 45% larger battery than the Tesla.

Mercedes and BMW have notoriously switched decades of who is making a better looking / better overall car. Mercedes held this title IMO for two decades. Bmw's cars are a better value atm imo. I think the BMW's look way better. That being said, I was so tired of paying maintenance costs for both so i bought a model Y.

@@dome9989 to each their own on looks I guess. I have an older benz which I think looks better than the bmws of the time. (2011) I think the bmws look better than the Mercedes these days. The m5 looks better than the E-63. I think the 7 looks better than the S class for once. The m4 looks better than the C, etc etc. Just my personal opinion. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that. I will say the Mercedes Benz EV’s are the very ugly.

So you know, the car does not have a heat pump. That is a deal breaker for me as the range in winter temperatures goes way down. Mercedes knows that they made a mistake on this and will be adding one next year. Also, if you are a short person, forget this car. When my 5 foot 2 inch wife sat in one and positioned the seat so she could reach the accelerator and see out the windshield she looked like a kid behind the wheel. Also, the floor gap it created between the back of her seat and the front of the second row seat looked really strange with the driver seat rail all exposed.

A huge problem with these cars is the very small space, one is very uncomfortable, it's almost a sardine can, where do you put each sardine one another tightly packed, that's why these types of cars are the most horrible cars on the market
