NEW 2023 Fire TV Sound bar missed the mark because of this one simple mistake

My complaint is when plugged to the Amazon TV - all the sound settings (equalizer, levelers, etc) available on the TV are locked out. The only adjustment is three fixed audio selections on the bar only. Watching movies with this in a small room is a constant battle to adjust the sound level for vocal versus background music. Even worse there is a lag between calling for a volume change and having it occur meaning you are constantly overshooting this adjustment.

I bought this Samar last night this is going to be my very first sound bar it's going to go on my new Omni television I was going to ask you when you first hooked it up to play a movie was the audio off sync or was you able to just plug it in and it did fine because really I don't wanna mess with the whole Lotta settings just to be set up? Why the hell have Amazon not allowed Echo Studio and dots to work together? But imagine the fire sound bar linked with Echo Studios and dots for the Atmos experience

If you run it through the optical cord you should be able to use both tv and sound bar speakers

@@UpgradeGuyTech did the optical cord work for you it should allow everything thing that comes through the tv to also go through the sound bar like any gaming device the sound bar the fire stick and should be able to adjust sound on tv and sound bar separately to blend them together. Works for me any way.

Your right I bought one and use the optical cord and it work great. It sounds and works great. Well worth the money

@@frankornelaz8234so you use the firetv sound bar, attached an optical cord to it and now you have audio through the soundbar and the tv simultaneously? Because this is my biggest complaint about the sound bar, is I can only listen to sound through the bar or through the TV not both at one time.

Make a TV alarm just with the Soundbar system in a TV alone adopt the soundbar the Soundbar made into the TV all-in-one Fire TV from insignia

I don’t know a lot about sound bars so that video has helped steer me in the right direction. Sounds to me like there are plenty of better options out there.

My only problem is it turns itself off if you pause a movie for a few minutes. Like less time than it takes to make a cup of tea. Really annoying. Also, if you use hdmi an Amazon Fire TV will briefly switch to that port every time you change volume. I had to switch to an optical cable.

Definitely a complete miss on Amazon side. It's unfortunate because if they included the firetv installed like roku it's pretty much just a cheap soundbar that's not cheap

The most intrusive horrible product I've ever purchased. It goes on on it's own. It shuts off the TV sound when in not using it and the HDMI connect never worked. I'm hating on Amazons products now including fire TV and Alexa products.. They are going in the trash

So far the sound quality has been a good improvement. However not sure if its worth the price point.
