Nice Bike. mirrors were bad on my z125 also but I went with bar end mirrors and really like them.

Incidentally, other than first, you can up-shift without using the clutch. Once you start doing that, you'll never go back.

How long between services on the grom?

1st maintenance 600 miles; then every 4000 miles thereafter or every year, whichever comes first.

None for the Grom. The Monkey’s were a Christmas present from one of my sons to my wife so I don’t know.

It’s not bad. I wear hearing protection on my Harley so I would have to say that it’s relatively quiet for me on my smaller motors.

Do you think a guy 6 feet tall & 230 lbs. would be comfortable on this bike ??

This is a hard one to answer. Is this a first bike, around town bike, or maybe a bike to trailer for camping trips, or an everyday rider? You would be comfortable on the street around town. Off-road you’ll likely bottom out the shocks. For long trips on the street I think your legs would start to cramp up after an hour. If this is a bike you’ll trailer to a campground for getting around, I think you’ll probably love it. This is all just my best guess, though.

UO - I love the Hondas stock round mirrors that also come on the Rebel! They work great. I cringe every time I see someone changing them for aftermarket mirrors that don't work half as well. But hey, to reach their own. 🤷🏽‍♂️

the only thing that sucks on the Grom Imo is the chain adjusters. idk why honda wont fix that after all these yrs

Haven’t had to adjust the chain yet but it seems pretty standard. Is there something I need to watch out for?

@@Dondular its just the adjuster itself once you use it and see there isnt any lines and it leaves you guessing if the tire is straight

Buy any new bike from Honda. They’re not cheap. You pay TTL and the shipping from Japan. Also, this is not their least expensive bike.

Wear gloves please. Your hands will become like hamburger meat when you fall. I’m a Canuck. It is the law in Saskatchewan to wear hand protectors. My rides are a Piaggio Beverly scooter and a Yamaha 49cc BWs or Zuma. I’m inspired by you to sell both scooters. A I’ve always liked the Grom. Although, the name Grom doesn’t do it for me. Unless GROM means Grandpas Ride On Motorcycles. In September I’ll be entering the age of a three quarters of century. I have half a century of two motorized wheeled experience.

I forgot my gloves that day but I always ride with them when I can. I think you'll like how the Grom performs but be prepared to do additions for storage. You are not going to the store for anything you can't carry home in your top pocket on a stock Grom.
