What if you wanna wear it on your back ? Do you need to wear it on the side with the sling ?

Absolutely love this pack but I do wish they would create some kind of insert to put inside like fishpond has done for their submersible packs.

I am not sure if the Fishpond hip pack insert would fit but I did get the backpack one to fit into the Orvis submersible pack. It might be worth a try.

@@AvidMax I tried out my friends, it does not sadly. I suggested they make one to orvis so we will see 🤞

Is it like too flimsy and wobbly? Or you just want the divider so stuff is organized?
@Rob.Brown139 ай бұрын
@@RrrutssS just to keep things organized. its a very sturdy pack as is.

so in your opinion what’s a better bag? This bag or the other sling style bag crossbody?

Big fan of the Hip Pack

Nice pack but it looks like it would interfere with casting. I use a chest pack but looking to maybe going back to vest

I have found that to be true with some chest packs. The lower profile the less intrusive they are to your cast.

contemplating but i think it woul dbe conflicting with my simms wading staff when its in the that hip holster. just a lot going on near your hips i think.

Orvis perfected the sling pack. This design is a big risk. The fact that it’s designed to sit on your side is be red questionable. My line would get stuck on it constantly. Especially when streamer fishing.
@Rob.Brown1310 ай бұрын
I thought it would be a problem too but honestly, it rarely happens to me.. plus you can always put it behind you when fishing and use it like every other hip pack and throw your net in behind it.

3+ pounds of water, especially on the end of the bag, most definitely makes this pack lopsided. If you really can't survive without that much water, you should rig up a separate bladder.

3+ pounds of water will absolutely make this bag lopsided. You need to get yourself a water bladder.
