Where do you keep tippet for quick access? That is my only issue with the backpack vs a sling pack. I love the quick access to tippet on a spool with the pro sling pack.

You can attach the chest or chest/hip pack on the front

Yes, it does holds up and stays air tight! Good old T-Zip.

Is the front pocket waterproof I was told it was not.

It is water resistant but not "waterproof". The zipper will keep out splashes and light exposer to water but is to "submersible" like the rest of the pack.
