Radiator Springs is my favorite ride at DCA!! I usually like ending the day with that ride right before the park closes.

I wonder if they'll ever fix the Mater animatronic in the beginning of the ride. The first figure hasn't moved along the track in what feels like years.

And the Sheriff animatronic in the beginning of the ride needs to be fixed too. You know, he moves as he speaks, as well.

I rode it twice last year and the sheriff didnt move along the track but mater did both times. i think they move when they feel like it.

they haven't even fixed the canons in rise of the resistance

Nevermind mater. Sheriff hasn’t had any body movements since Disneyland reopened. And only recently has he started moving forwards and backwards (without body movements).

Oh wow, they finally pressure wash the outdoor tracks in some sections, like where the race begins and where the car passes the bridge. It removed the tire tread mark.

I got on it two days ago and the ride broke down right away, I stopped in the route 66 area in front of the drive thru sign and waited around 20 minutes before being escorted out of the car.

Feel like amusement parks are missing a trick here. A few Go-Pros and IoT hardware you could shill full ride mp4s of guest reactions on a cheap license flash drive. Although these days, it's harder to spot peeps that aren't filming. "Yeah, can't wait to get home and find out how much fun I had!" 😉
