Thanks! A follow up video coming soon. Basically there is a small lag in the beginning but if you move the slider just a bit it aligns again with Tesla speaker. I didn't see any lag using a Bluetooth headphone.

@@ShivaSapkota over headphones there wont be much lag, but if we want the audio to be routed to tesla's car speakers, you will see 1 sec lag. basically any you tube video you are playing on rare screen, audio comes after 1 sec. So, lip-sync issues while watching videos on rare screen. This is issue on tesla BT side, not on this device side.

My main issues is air flow. Those slits seem to small to feed the rear of the car for proper cooling in the summer. Heat will come from the floor under the seats but the AC needs to come from that slit. Is the air flow more intense? i have been waiting for this model to come out. But again the airflow is issues number 1. Can you make another video talking about that? Thanks for the information

Thanks Prakash! Netflix is not working for me but everything else is. It comes with Android 11 and I will ask Hansshow if they will support 12. The chip is Qualcomm with 4GB Ram and 32 GB ROM. This version is much stable and probably because they used a higher power Qualcomm chip compared to the previous version. I would want them to use Linux honestly and just pre-load apps. Their Linux Carplay front screens are much stable compared to Android.

Shiva, I just noticed when controlling the rear vent speed it adjusts the entire car's air flow and not just the rear. Have you had that issue? Also, adjusting the main screen fan speed on the tesla no longer adjusts the car's air flow anymore.

This is amazing! I was waiting for one that looked as OEM as this. So, I'm finally going to get this one. My concern is with power draw and the S3XY buttons. I would love if the display could have a function where it can tell if there are rear passengers (Which the car already does) and automatically turn off the display if not. This way, the screen isn't unnecessarily using power. Is that what the auto lock is doing? Or does that just display the lock screen after some time regardless of if the rear is occupied? Second, that same port is utilized by my S3XY buttons module. Is there a splitter? Would it interfere with it?

You can Daisy chain multiple connections on that rear CAN bus connection. Cable management is more difficult with more connections, you’ll have to stuff some wire into that open cavity under the center console.

I think it will have lag over bluetooth about 1 sec, as this device communicating with tesla audio over tesla's bluetooth A2DP protocol. So you will end up audio video lag if any video getting played on this rare entertainment screen.

I installed the 7.2 inch screen on my 2021 M3 and my screen model has a front passenger seat adjustment control which i didnt connect as i dont want kids to mess with front pessanger seat. I have noticed that after installation all my usb ports innfront and back along with the wireless charging not working do you know is this because i have not connected the front pessanger seat wire to it?

Thank you. It is not the front passenger seat but a little pin that you have to connect in the back to cap off your OEM Tesla connector. Once you install that cap, the USB ports, wireless charger etc will start working. If your kit didn't come with the cap (it has two wire loop), contact the seller.

Well done! On this video you indicated on Model 3 you did not need to connect vehicles USB connection, but for the Model Y Hanshow provided an additional connector. In addition to connecting, it to the vehicle USB connection where is the other end connected.

Thank you! The special Hansshow connector only has pins on one side to essentially cap off the existing USB-C plug. It doesn't have another side. Tesla won't provide power to the front wireless chargers unless it detects that the back USB C harness is plugged into something.

The vent noise is the same as stock. I didn't see an error message when the seat button was unplugged but just it didn't do anything when you control the seat from this screen. Thank you!

You can directly add this cable with the S3XY button harness (daisy chain). It works for both but the space gets crammed down there. Your outside bracket might not snap in place. Thanks!

You can override climate control and seat heater from the main screen and you can just not connect the seat adjustment. You cannot override games etc from the front as they are not connected to the Tesla. You can however adjust the volume, play, pause etc on what folks are watching on the back. Thank you!

@@christhomas5804 Hi, you can only disconnect the seat-adjustment, not the frontseat heating. What Shiva is saying about the seat heater is that you can change it back to your desired setting if someone has changed it from the rear-seat display.

Version 2 looked better without having all that black bezel around it and without the silver plastic plus you had the full air vents in the back. Tesla's can get pretty hot before you get in to drive. It was 87F outside today and 135F inside the car. It wasn't an issue. I just turned the A/C on before I got to the car. This version is good because you now have Bluetooth support. I guess I could get this unit and mask off the screen and paint that horrible silver plastic or maybe be bold and try to wrap it with something. Otherwise I like it and I'm seriously thinking of buying one.
