I'm a lifelong Merc guy, and I loved the 5 series right up to the 2024, like you said. Now they're messing with the pretty design and making it look weird. Edit, it's still much prettier than the 7 series thank God😂

This 2024 new designed eclass is gorgeous! Benz has always had the elegance styling that can’t compare to no other brand Audi only a close 2nd in my opinion my brother has a 2016 s550 modified and it’s a nice car but I am loving the new styling Mercedes’ is crafting with there line of the latest models !

Those tail lights are hidduous. A little over the top with the silver star insignia also. Reminds me of a Chinese rip off version of an E class. Interior is beautiful at least

Nice, very nice. I want one. Nice to see the adblue in the right place..! ( not in the boot/trunk) shame about the exhaust though, I really like the ones on may 2016 e220, split left and right and not fake twin pipes at the back. Merc you can do better than that. Also all Merc’s should carry the 3 pointed star proudly on the bonnet/hood, the ones that stick up..! It’s a statement of class and quality. They fold back almost flat, so no issue with health & safety.. Bring them back.. Does the saloon come with split fold rear seats? If not they really should do.. mine don’t and that’s one reason I’m thinking of getting rid of it.. makes the car so much more user friendly and practical……!

E class lost its elegant design, now it targets Chinese and Asian markets where new rich young audiences are fancy of this kind of interior and ext. Its the business, Bmw also went for that as well but the more I look into new G60 the more I love it. This E class tail light is just horrible, interior is bling bling with big screens and led strips but they are actually annoying and not safe to use when driving, exactly the trends to young and Chinese audiences are after but grown up dads like us appreciate the minimalistic BWM and Audi are offerings. Plus, I’d take the B58/48 over any Mercedes i6/4 powertrain any day, also the 8 speed ZF is way more reliable and smooth than the mediocre Mer.
