Buy the modern, state of the art SL 63 AMG for 200.000 EUR today and in ten years you will have a slighly old car worth 100.000 EUR and dropping And looking at my current 2012 Mercedes, especially its infotainment system I must say: Nothing ages faster than computer aided control systems. My Mercedes feels like a 2007 iPod touch compared to a 2024 iPhone 16.

No no competition. All the Classic, SL from the 50s and 1960s are a different level to today’s Selles 2004 onwards. 2 2024 just a load of crap once they get old they won’t be worth nothing they are just a day-to-day affordable SL full of plastic. I’ll get bored with that within five minutes

I had my 1st pagoda at 18 years old 😂 230SL Manual then then got a 280SL at 23 omg girls went crazy over those cars at night clubs and Wine bars 😂😂😂

Give me the 300SL or the 280SL and keep the new one. It’s so ugly and huge and just useless. Too many buttons and tech. I really do enjoy the 280 or 300. So much fun to drive, cheers!
