New 2024 Renault (Dacia) Duster - Redesigned Hi-Tech Hybrid Family SUV

Renault has officially taken the wraps off its 2024 Duster, expected to make its way to the Indian market by the end of the year,
The latest model showcases a design closely resembling the Dacia Duster, with subtle changes to logos and brandings for a distinctive touch.
Both the Dacia and Renault versions of the Duster look identical, expect for a handful of changes. To begin with, the Renault Duster gets Renault lettering on the grille instead of a Dacia logo. At the back, there is a Renault logo, while its counterpart gets Dacia lettering. Although the new Duster carries over its signature boxy dimensions and appearance, it takes inspiration from the Bigster concept. Notably, the new Duster uses the new CMF-B platform, which underpins other Dacia, Renault, and Nissan vehicles.
Other exterior highlights include a sleek LED headlight setup with Y-shaped LED DRLs and large air intakes on both ends with fog lamps below. It gets a muscular bonnet with aggressive lines and chrome elements on the grille.
At the sides, the design is all new and features squared-off wheel arches with roof rails and dual-tone alloy wheels. It gets Body cladding all around which adds ruggedness and character to the SUV. At the rear, are V-shaped LED taillights with a Y-shaped signature. The SUV also features a rear skid plate and it also gets an integrated roof spoiler.
The Duster interior has been completely redesigned, with a new dashboard layout and centre console. The updated dashboard now features a 10.1-inch floating touchscreen and AC vents with Y-shaped inserts. Furthermore, the SUV has a 7-inch fully digital instrument cluster behind a redesigned three-spoke steering wheel. The SUV also gets ventilated front seats, wireless charging, automatic climate control and a redesigned gear selector lever.
the Duster has a ground clearance of 217mm, a 31-degree approach angle, a 24-degree breakover angle, and a 36-degree departure angle. It also offers a boot space of 472 litres.
This will be the first-ever Duster to arrive from the ground up without the option of a diesel engine. Dacia, who has developed this new Duster, has announced three engine options for the SUV.
The first is a 1.6-litre petrol mated to an automatic gearbox and two electric motors. This is a full hybrid system,This engine is already offered in the Jogger MPV where it produces 140bhp/148Nm and has a mileage of 24.5kmpl
The second is a mild-hybrid 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol mated to a 48V electric motor having an output in the range of 110bhp-160bhp. This is the first time that the Duster is getting this powertrain that will have the option of 4X4 tech with multiple driving modes. It can be had with a six-speed manual or a six-speed AT. The final engine, is a three-cylinder 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol/LPG-compatible engine mated to a six-speed manual.
