In R line guise you are totally wrong re the interior; mk8 R line (inclusive of the infotainment and dash layout) hundred times better than the boring 7.5 interior which is fine but doesn’t feel at all remotely luxurious

VW Golf Mk 8 Life and Style always had real buttons on the steering wheel. R-Line, GTI, GTE and R versions did not.

@@angelrogoThats true, and I always wonder why they say buttons are back. For three an a half year I had MK 8 Style. Now since one month I own a new Style eTSI. But problems with the infotainment exist further.

nice timeless exterior, but that ipad completely ruins the overall impression. and distract all attention when driving. strangely, in some countries you are not allowed to talk on a mobile phone, but operating various flat screens in cars does nothing. ☀️☀️☀️

I think this is Dolphin Grey. I can see little mettalic elements on video. Urano Grey is simlpe and non metallic.

@@RocketRocket-ce3ke the system is a little slow too, maybe it'll be better in the latest Golf. I also prefer to have some buttons and knobs too. Anyone older would hate the Golf system.

Missed opportunity with this one again. It'll never be as good as the mark 7.5 was, and that was like 8 years ago! What the hell is that tablet on the dash.. you could at least integrated it somehow... lazy design VW.

What ever happened to the beautiful grey paint colors VW had in the past ? Now they just have a dull grey color with a metallic gloss over it.😢😢😢 I,ve been driving VW since 1980 and I never saw this before. Shame on VW. The models are still beautiful, but I will think twice now before buying one. Because beautiful on the inside does not mean beautiful on the outside color wise.

So they are sticking with the dangerous and ridiculous climate controls and fan speed/direction in the infotainment screen. Good lucking accessing that on British roads and not swerving all over the place. Shambles !
