Engineering student here. So just from what I’m listening to, it is possible that some aero functionality can be integrated but not much. The angle and speed of the wind would need to be measured accurately. What I would assume here is, setting the bike at a zero setting, the change of body position while riding gives you a negative or positive aero reading. This would definitely require the use of a power meter, cadence and speed sensor, and possibly, height difference from the current mounting locations, as to not have the bar impede readings, like the ones already seen in the market. Or.. just take a look at the At sailing equipment. Vakaros makes a wind sensor. Obviously, no aero readings but the concept is to place a wind sensor separately from the computing device. What I think is actually in the realm of probable: just inaccurate wind direction and speed. Good enough to tell you if got a headwind or tailwind on your local segment.

Garmin seems to have the market cornered on solar and a lot of riders feel it's unnecessary... The new flagship Edge 1050 doesn't even have a solar option.

@@adamweb I would love a solar option for long rides so I don't have to carry a portable charger. I'm just too stubborn to change since I've used Wahoo products from day one, and have had no issues with them.
