I like the IX, But BMW trend to remove buttons is Not only out of control, But Anti ergonomic and unsafe for driving by multiplying the number of actions needed to modify one paramter.

This car looks so nice , I have a model Y and I just love it , I drove my wife's non electric the other day and really missed mine . The model y is just such a better lease deal than this BMW right now and it's faster with the boost purchase 4.2 0-60.

IX LCI will start manufacturing in March 2025 (as 2026 model year in North America)

@@s23bho38 I think between # of 2024 (still on lots) and 2025s not stacking up and plummeting preowned, waiting is prudent given the above + pending updates. It's hard though.....it's sooooo nice!!😍

@@s23bho38 If you do consider preowned note that even though Drive Assist has the exact same naming in the option bundle check the contents....if you want Highway Assist (85 miles per hour/130Kms) you must get a 2024 or 2025. 2023 does not support that. Only up to ~60kms per hours (called Traffic Jam assist or something).

@@redmondc963 agreed. The wife and I test drove both the I5 and IX on the same day. IX was the hands down winner for overall comfort and driving experience. We are a family of four so need a larger car to make this work for us. Happy to wait for now. Thanks again. 👍🏼

There are some very nice looking BMW SUVs out there but this isn’t one of them. You’d have to be buying this for the performance and ignoring the looks. For the money I like I’d want a car that made me want to glance back at it after I parked it.

I saw one outside a restaurant and I still didn't think it was the best looking car, but I'm mostly concerned with performance (horsepower, efficiency, charging speed) and driving dynamics. I do see that I could afford to buy one used, but it's a little large for me. How's the tech on yours? The phone app?
