I can't wait til the aftermarket world gets their hands on this engine. $800 tuner and potentially more power than a TRX? That'd be pretty bad ass. With the stock power levels, I wouldn't be too surprised if someone gets a tune and some bolt ones and get 900+HP. If the B58 in the Z4/Supra can handle 1000hp on stock internals, I'd imagine this should to close to that, if not better.
@gannethackett9323Ай бұрын
Yeah possibly, there’s already tunes for the TRX’s hellcat that make it push 1000 hp, but those Nissan GTR’s are twin turbo v6s and a simple tune will make a GTR beat pretty much anything:
@PapiAndrey12 күн бұрын
If you read the specs of the high output engine, the hardware used and the stock turbo size tells us that it will definitely make more power than a trx or even a redeye engine would- with basic bolt ons and a tune. This engine is quite similar to modern Bmw turbo i6’s.

I’ve been building engines for 36 years. Let me educate you on engines. The 5.7 is a dog and had a ton of problems. Dodge lost their lawsuit and have to fix all the 5.7’s now. The inline 6 is the best design engine ever produced. It’s the strongest by design. That’s why every 18 wheeler uses them and not V8’s. Fords best engines were the US made 4.9 straight 6 in the 80’ and 90’s. You couldn’t kill that engine. Ford mechanics made no money so Ford stopped making it. Fords Australian Barra straight 6 was a legendary engine. Now thru are used in drag cars making 1000 hp. BMW best engines are inline 6 turbos making big hp gains. B58 being my favorite. Nissans legendary best engine was inline 6 RB26. Toyotas best legendary engine was Inline 6 2JZ. You see the most legendary engines are all straight 6. This is why Dodge went this route. I said 20 years ago, complained to bring back the straight 6 bullet proof engines.
