The Golf 7 and previous Tiguan were too perfect to improve. BMW had the same problem when it replaced the E92 with the F30 in 2013. Merc also failed to improve on their 2015+ models with the latest generation.

They detuned the 2.0 tsi and i suspect they did that to keep the car under 1m with the extras added. But they further detuned the diesel engine and it now has just 110kw? This car looks more Chinese than it does German. The previous model looks and feels more premium, especially the interior and having driven it, i want to test drive this one but I'm already disappointed. A 1.4l car for 925k fully spec'd? How's this thing different from a standard H6? 😩

I do agree that the options should be standard on certain trim levels.that's what the Chinese, Japanese do. This thing of adding what you want in a car makes it unnecessarily expensive. There's economies of scale.

Some would want the R line but would still like to keep the high profile wheels etc .. e.g , revers cam and what what assist are not important for me , I would like a 2L with high profile wheels , a bose sound system and a sunroof, the rest doesn't really matter for me , massaging seats for what

A few things. A good first time for me seeing your review. Nice review! Well done! The name of the place you mentioned, is it a city, and in which country?? I have never heard of it. The old to new design. Yes I like the front of the outgoing model front only but the back of it's light configuration looked DATED! The new back with the lights is current and fresh and should age well. The colours here look new for Canada if they come and they are very nice. I like the blue, red and what looks like pewter. The lower HP variations I don't get for safe driving on highways anyway. We don't get the diesel and will get the 2.0L Turbo I suspect. VW where is the Tiguan Hybrid for Canada??????????? I hear it is not coming but they don't indicate if it will arrive sometime soon. UK has the plugin Hybrid. Go Ni
