Usul Al Fiqh is very new to me, still studying stories of the prophets in depth, BIO of Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him and each of the ten of his closest companions. Among other things, ALLAHUMA BARAAK LAKA ! This was so powerful, I would like to re watch it and take down some valuable notes. I found this lecture easy to follow well structured, with exemplary examples. A punch of Intense wisdom. The awful breed in universities is really dangerous if one does not have the true knowledge. It is 💯 out there I speak from experience. These 5 maxims should be taught in every school/ uni May Allah satiate and quench our thirst for His knowledge and place wisdom in our hearts to apply it. May Allah Aza’Wajaal raise your rank ustadh Abu Taymiyyah and the rank of those who nurtured you. Great course mashallah. One important thing to remember regarding the story of ibn Taymiyyah and Tatars (Mongols) is why would companion of ibn Taymiyyah bother to tell the Mongols about leaving wine. Most people don't know, that at that time Mongols were no longer a pagan empire, but islamic one. So that's why he did not start with tawheed for example, but with the wine. And with regards to ibn Taymiyyah's wise response: even though Mongols were muslims, they were still ruthless warriors as their ancestors used to be, even at that time being at war with Muslim state of Mamluk sultanate.
