Executioners also promote individual thinking among their ranks, which is unheard of as most Astartes lean towards ordered obedience without personal bias. Fafnir made it a point that his men should have common personal views in order to create brotherhood, and any man in disagreement has a voice to speak on as equals among the ranks

I started building and painting Executioners about a couple of months ago, my first army. I fell in love with them due to seeing their actions in the Badab War and going down a rabbithole. I have some Bladeguard on my shelf, and boy am I glad I saw this vid and checked out the short story before even unboxing them XD looks like I'm gonna need more axes. Love my boys, happy to see them getting new lore!

Nice. I have a couple Executioners in my Salamanders army, single Astartes in Sally squads. In my head cannon, they have maintained a relationship of respect and exchange with the Sallamanders understanding that working with other chapters reaps rewards of understanding. That Red Hour moment and Mir'San then vouching for the Executioners honour at the end were the bro-est moments in Badab storyline.

As an Iron Warriors fan, the Executioners are actually a IF successor chapter I like.

They just keep writing in that all the firstborns were wiped out except for one or two, in every chapter, and then those survivors get the Cawl juice and badda bing badda boom the entire chapter is replaced with primaris. Lazy, hack writing to kill off the firstborns and replace them with Primaris. I still hate them. They are a molestation of the lore that should not exist, period.

I believe Huron Is similar to Horus where he has accepted all of the chaos gods gifts and that makes sense that Huron will eventually clash with Vashtorr as the 4 Chaos gods dont like Vashtorr and probably dont like the thought of him gaining Chaos God level power after he unlocks what ever it is with this key.

If there's going to be some Vashtor/Red Corsairs overlap, I wonder if we'll be seeing more of Armenneus Valthex, I feel like he'd get along very well with an incredibly powerful Daemon of technology. Or at least have an 'interesting' interaction with him. Plus it would give a reason to look at more Red Corsairs besides Huron.
