If you acquire Sierra Leonean citizenship, you become not only a member of the ECOWAS nations, but you become a Commonwealth citizenship, which makes it easier for you to become a citizen of another Commonwealth country, such as the UK. As a Commonwealth citizen, you can also obtain citizenship of Mauritius after living there for 1 year, which has the most powerful passport among the African nations. There is also getting Pakistani citizenship upon a deposit of 5m rupees scheme.

African Ancestry had a program that ran into that range a few years back, don't know if still operates. Basically, if your DNA showed some paternal/maternal lineage to Sierra leone, you take a trip go through a ceremony and get citizenship and passport. They were running these trips 1-2x/yr. I don't know if program still operates.
