Scott, your friend Randy has been a good friend and mentor of mine in body building and weight training for quite a while since 2001. I've learned a TON from Randy about different techniques and movements, and quite a bit about Steve Reeves and his regimen as well! Recently, I've begun getting back into my old routine in Randy's gym (and learning some new things) and my fitness level and physique would not be where it is today without his generosity and guidance. Randy is one of the most generous guys I've ever met, not to mention true to his word. He's certainly a Steve Reeves fan and wealth of knowledge. He's told me a lot about you and I'll be following you from now on. Keep up the good work!

Well, that makes my day, Joseph! It's amazing who you meet out there thanks to Steve Reeves and the internet. Steve did not want to be forgotten so thank you for showing interest in him and his career. He was just a man, of course but there were so many fasinating layers to his life that one can be inspired by. Good job getting back into your routine, I didn't know that Randy had a gym. Is it a garage gym like mine or something else? I hear from Randy just about everyday and it's one of the highlights of my day. Thanks for following along on this journey with us! - Scott

@@SteveReevesHercules I'll leave it to Randy to describe his gym to you, I don't want to steal any thunder. However, I will say that I've never needed anything more than what he's got. It's really an ideal setup.

Hey Scott, I was wondering was Steve ever considered for superman i always thought he would of been the best guy for it
@SteveReevesHercules Жыл бұрын
I don't know if Steve was considered but he certainly should have been. I can't think of a better person to portray him. I do know that George Reeves was "teased" by the studios that they might replace him with Steve Reeves. I believe this tidbit came from "A Moment In Time" by George Helmer or from George's blog at stevereeves.com

Do you have the book where it's written all about Steve Reeves in movies? I tried to buy the book but it seems it's out of stock
@SteveReevesHercules Жыл бұрын
Yes, I have it. "Steve Reeves His Legacy In Films" By George Helmer and Dave Dowling. You might try ebay or Amazon...
