I think the biggest selling point for the Ultimate over the Pro is the warranty and knowing, that you have the best product on the market. Also probably has a bit more heavy duty internals since is rated for a few kilograms more. If you can afford a $1700 for a single pedal, then you can afford one for $2400, but of course, there is a plenty of market for both, since they are very close to each other and with almost 30% price difference. Active pro brake + passive throttle - still cheaper then a single Ultimate.

If you care about the the feedback then you definitely don’t need to invest in Simucube as the real advantage for those expensive pedals is the way they can be set! The Simagic haptics are very strong and very intuitive in driving and even if they feel different then the way Simucube transfer the feedback , I don’t really think that matters in actual driving! I had the same hopes for the next pedals from Simucube but when I ask them why they choose to go that way they told me, the engineers didn’t want to go anything below that in terms of quality and I had to admit they have the right to create things they are happy with. The standards are set anyway and I think we will see soon answers from the competition! It is still good to have same quality for way less on the market which will push the competition to be mindful with their pricing 😁
@OLDGOLDSTEFF3 ай бұрын
@@chepilevski I really respect the way you are trying to explain community everything, to talk with companies test things deeply. I must say my huge respect. It's very nice that you shared that info with us. Simucube is top premium brand, proven as well. But I think they exceeded themselves right now. If we speak about quality whatever they put in there it can't cost more than real sport car parts. That pedal it won't survive G forces and crash pressures like in real car and after repair just use it like nothing happend still in perfect shape. In real world we call that good excuse 😀 But I like your logic, we all like Simucube, but as you said competitions is crazy right now and let's see how other brands will play with them
@Adefgolden3 ай бұрын
So, if the Pedal was 50% cheaper instead of the now 30% cheaper, you’d get them? Would you be willing to sacrifice quality? I bet my ass if the pedal was 50% cheaper you’d be complaining it wasn’t 70% cheaper.
@OLDGOLDSTEFF3 ай бұрын
@@Adefgolden We won't argue, that's not right, that won't help anyone. But I meant on current price 50%. I would personally buy them in that case it's not a problem. Today making these pedals it's not hard like before. You have high tech machines, software's already made for making parts. I live in Serbia, country where for example cars from EU coming where people were told that engine is for scrap in official Audi service, and you need brand new engine that cost more than car itself. You change just one sparkplug for 15 bucks and car runs like Switzerland watch. I buy it for 500e, car is worth 4-5-6k. That's just story so you need to spend more money. That's what companies do to people. Storys, quality, marketing etc to make you believe that inside is something so incredible and that worth a lot. For Semucube making this pedal is under 100 bucks trust me in material and process of making. Everything else you are paying brand, development, stories etc. I can pay 7-10x more than actual cost and that's fine, but not 17-20x. Don't get me wrong, I'm just trying to help people and open their eyes. Nothing personal. If people know this and no one buys you will see how much the same product it can cost way less. If you want to pay this pedals that's okay, but many people really don't have money for this, and some part of them are like me. It's just too much for pedal, not worth that money. Anyways only Simucube will loss, not me

If I would have to guess, I would say Dave Cam's video is also coming out today. My honest opinion, it is still to expensive. In general, people who couldn't/wouldn't afford the pedal before, won't be buying this one either and customers who already have set their mind to buy Simucube active pedals will now mostly buy the Pros instead of the "Ultimate", I think they misses a bit the market here. Depending on with what Moza is coming up this year, they will probably have to lower the price of the Pro's to stay relevant.
