I wear a simple cap on my head for TrackIR v5 It's related to VR in a sense. I used to use it in my Flight sim gig. But once I got turned on to cars, I hung up my wings, but I still employ the head tracker in Race Sims. I can also recalibrate it and position myself quite well in the car. Back forward , up or down within plenty of reason. This stuff here sure is cool! Nice vid!

Absolutely top-end gear at a very competitive price. IMO, best all around ecosystem in sim racing (miles ahead of Fanatec and some other more popular brands).

Great review, I think that I may opt for this one as I am keen on really dialling up the resistance for the shifter, which, as you demonstrated clearly. Usually, with these types of hardware that have blades and various holes, grooves, etc, maintaining/cleaning them could be difficult, especially if there is a dusty finish; what are your experiences?

Ok, idk if anyone will see this, i currently have t300, ive come to conclusion that i need more resolution to get more competitive, and was wondering which way i should go. The plan would be to set my ffb 8-9 but have a base with a higher end at minimum of 12, so moza r9 is out, was debating on rest of the lineup (r12/r...16?) As well as other options. I dont have a ton of disposable income so itll be a little ways out yet but would like to be on new base by winter, was hoping for suggestions about which way to go if anyone saw this
@chepilevski
@chepilevski 3 күн бұрын
R16 V2 would be my suggestion as you will have more room from FFB point of view and never think about it! VRS DD is also great choice or even Simagic 15nm. If you want to go for 10-12nm base the the Simagic Mini and R12 can be great choice! In terms of FFB quality, they are all very close so you must check which ecosystem have better wheel choices for your personal taste 🤛

Thanks for great review, man! I have their previous version of this combo which I absolutely love. The immersive feel of both but espacially the shifter will be hard to beat for competition for sure. What makes me mad is that fair plate isn't real cf which is why you can't see the separation between each layer and the product overall to me seems cheaper then it should. @@sheep7255 well for me, in terms of shifters I agree with rbm in that its between this and the sg, (if budget allows this "upper midrange", but the thrustmaster tss also costs 300€ oc) and i chose the tao v2. Havent owned any others yet either tho. If you wanna upgrade to a properly powerful dd in the future you need a good rig anyway, so its really really the most important upgrade imo. Plenty of cheap used Profile rigs out there and for the love of god... get a fuckin profile rig and not those shitty scam "tube" cockpits I dont have the tss so I dont know how good it is in either Mode, but id say for most people the shifter is way more important, because even for rally you dont really need a handbrake at all since a scandi flick is afaik usually faster anyway.
