New Additions and 1960 Topps set update.

In this video, I do a recap of my most recent additions to my collection. I also give an update on the status of my 1960 Topps set.

Can never go wrong with KG, Jr cards. Congrats on your '60's set, it's a climb but you're doing it. I have your care package to send you, been busy to mail out. Nice Cujo and Hully cards. Walker needs to hit the batting cage, looking forward to Carlson coming back.

You are correct, my friend about KGJ. It's crazy to think that I've been buying his cards off and on for about 35 years! Slow but sure progress on the 60 set for sure. I appreciate it, Doug. I'll let you know when it gets here. It sucks too because Carlson was having a pretty good spring. I'd like him to come back and be a better version of himself as a rookie. The injury bug has not been kind to him. Thanks as always my friend!

Some great cards Bill! I am also a big Griffey fan, thinking I want to send a few of his cards to SGC at some point! I agree with you on the 91 Fleer set, I like it way more than the 90 set. The Griffey Bonds card is one of my favorites, I think it would look fantastic in an SGC slab. I used to work for Kraft Foods, who owned Tombstone Pizza and have a number of the 94 and 95 sets, the Griffey you got was from the 94 set. Love the 1960 Banks and Mathews those are both sweet cards. Big fan of Ray's channel, looking forward to seeing your episode!

You know, I never really thought about how nice 1991 Fleer would look in a tux... That contrast of yellow and black would have to look great! Griffey's base card has a variation in 1991 Fleer, I might have to see if I have one worth grading. Cool idea!

Thanks as always, Steve! I have so many cards that I want to get graded, but I struggle sometimes with how to allocate my hobby dollars! I have a lot of Griffeys I want to get graded too, and I agree that the 91 combo card with Bonds would look awesome. The Tombstone cards are sweet, and I didn't remember them and don't think I had any. I'm definitely looking forward to going on with Ray! Thanks again, my friend!

Great gift from Adam. You and I are both big Griffey fans. Nice you could add those beauties. That Banks 60 is sweat and the Mathews nice as well. Good luck getting it done as the 60 is a beautiful set.

One of my favorite Ken Griffey Jr rookie cards is his 1989 ScoreMasters. Score update is pretty awesome too. But you're right, he doesn't really any bad ones. 1960 Topps is a solid set; I really like the horizontal cards, the color pops too...

Yeah, I guess for some reason, I'm really drawn to horizontal cards, too. They tend to be some of my favorite vintage sets and cards. I keep forgetting about his ScoreMasters card. I need to double-check and see if I have it. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Love that old-school hockey! All I can say is dang, Adam... Very generous. Joe Mullen and Cujo were awesome to watch. Never found out why Mullen didn't get to the NHL until 24, but I'm curious. Imagine how many goals he would have had if he debuted at 18-19 like so many other HOFers. I agree at 12:39 100% and I'm just now filling those holes in my collection. I have 2-3 really nice Bossy RCs headed my way soon if you need one. I'll probably grade them first, but you can have dibs on one. Those Next in Lines are amazing looking, I remember them. Vladdy Konstantinov was the player who was brain damaged but you are correct about Fetisov being hurt in the accident. Sweet 1960 Mathews also, one of the first vintage cards I ever owned. I'll have a bulk SGC order going out mid-May to early June if you want a discount. Great stuff Billy, I always dig the hockey thrown in there.

I will definitely have to get with you after the National when I have some money again. I have so many cards that I want. Thanks again.

@@billyballgamesportscards You're welcome my man! Oh wow, thanks for sharing that info about Mullen. Now I don't have to do the research myself! Yeah, I would definitely guess around 700 goals for sure. No worries on grading, I'm just throwing that out there to a few of you guys as I do my bulk subs. Also, as far as any of my star or Hall of Famer RCs go, anything I have doubles of would be available for trade to you or the other KZbin folks before I go to sell it. Gotta get those funds in order for the National though, I totally understand that.
