It sure is taking some time :( Q1 is gonna be a good start I guess with the black A12x25 including the single tower, but I think what a lot of people are really waiting for is the 140mm version, the dual tower to go with it, and THEN seeing those become available in black. With the current timeline between release and black version it sounds like there are quite a few years to wait. I hope your competitors have not completely overtaken by then, I love your products and dedication, but it's just going really slow ..

@@cybermechid9181 NH-D15 has worse compatibility. I recommend NH-D15S unless you're doing heavy overclocking... And especially if you're going mid ATX case NH-D15S is far better bet. For full ATX towers where you have lots of room + if you know your RAM will fit fine with NH-D15, then sure get NH-D15.

2 months ago I bought the NH-D15 chromax black which has 2 fans , working on core i9 11900k, its performance is excellent & it reduced my temperatures by rang of 10 to 12°c less than Hyper 212 Turbo, its RAM clearence is excellent even with big RAM height like my Corsair Dominator platinumRGB , but I wish if the D15 had the asymmetric design of D15S for more space from the GFX card, & the fans rpm to be 2000 rpm, I hope your next line of those coolers with 7 heat pipes to be a modified D15S but with 2 fans again of 2000 rpm on smaller double tower of heat sinks with 7 heat pipes .

Which model are you referring to? You should definitely see better results with the NH-D15S but the NH-U9S is quite a bit smaller than the AS500, so wouldn't be able to compete.

@@user-qz3yp7ju6p Hey, I run a 5900X with 3080 FE with a D15. It CAN easily cool your 5900X even with the 3080 FE working at max :) But at the end it really depends on your case. I use a high airflow case with 5 Nocuta fans (3x 120mm in, 2x 140mm out) and its extremely quiet even at high loads.

A big D15 Noctua heatsink will keep up with a 360 rad, and a U12a will outperform a 240 rad. I'd go for a Noctua, since the fan noise is barely noticeable under load, and there is no pump/water (and pump whine) that can break after just 2 or 3 years. A good air cooler will last forever.

The NH-D15/D15s coolers do a good job of cooling an R9-3900x or R9-3950x CPU (12 and 16-core) and should cool the new AMD 5000 series well. Or most Intel CPU's though perhaps not high-end i9 CPU's that were overclocked... also, keep in mind liquid coolers will have the liquid permeate into the tubing over time so the performance diminishes. In general, go with a good AIR COOLER like the NH-D15s BLACK CHROMAX model as it will be a great investment... it can last 20 years. Not kidding.

So, I just have to ask. Do you think you guys can do a colab with someone like Steve from gamers Nexus or Linus to explain why it's so hard to allow a faster change to chromax in your lineup? I mean us regular peeps are thinking you just add black food coloring to you plastic and presto we have a chromax fan. But obviously your relentless attention to detail goes many steps further. Maybe a video with someone familiar at a factory or testing center can explain this a bit better to the general public and also calm down the ants in my pants?

Let us assure you that it is (at least) as frustrating for us as it is for you if it takes longer than expected to get products ready. As you'll surely understand, it would be foolish on our part to delay products unnecessarily, especially those where we see good demand. Unfortunately, we cannot go into details regarding the reasons for such delays or the parameters we need to tune in order to make a product live up to our expectations though. In order to do so, we would need to give away a lot of confidential information and experience that is vital for fine-tuning products to the level we do and that is not readily available otherwise. NT-H1 is still an excellent high-end paste, the differences to NT-H2 aren't huge and only show in certain applications (see noctua.at/en/performance-comparison-nt-h1-vs-nt-h2). NT-H2 is much more expensive, so we would have to increase the price of the cooler to include it. We don't think this makes sense for the majority of customers. Those who prefer NT-H2 can still buy it extra!
