This is the revolutionary technique we performed 3 months ago in Copenhagen. She is a beautiful 37 year-old who lost a lot of volume in her face. We rejuvenated her face globally with our Stem Cell Fat Transfer.
We first extracted 100 cc of fat and isolated about 200 thousand stem cells from it. Then the cells were culture-expanded to over 20 billion cells over one week. Then the patient returned to the operating room for a formal Stem Cell Fat Transfer. We mixed her cultured stem cells with additional fat harvested resulting in a concentration of 23.3 million stem cells per cc of fat. We used about 70 cc of Stem Cell enriched fat in her.
This process is approved in Denmark. We know it enhances the viability of fat grafts in breast augmentation by 120% to 150% long term. The potential benefits of using cultured Stem Cells for the face is not only long term graft retention but also improvement of skin texture over time. This is our second patient. We await further studies.
