We put a Fantastic fan vent in the roof, it exhausts in and out, with rain sensor so it automatically opens and closes and has thermostat. I think blows so much cool air, I don’t know how we did without it.❤️

I was going to suggest cabinet doors for storage access under the L shape until you showed the movable extension. Don't worry if you don't have screws, they say you can do anything with duct tape. Solar panels - duct tape. The look on Sherpa's face most of the time said "better you than me but if you need help look elsewhere." Ha. Napping is such hard work. Chilling. Van is looking good. Coming along nicely.

Watching on October 11, 2024, 9:45 pm, remembering Sherpa, and supporting Jamie. Wow, Jamie really got a lot done on the van. Such a good job, and it takes some real conviction to go drilling holes in the van! Loved Sherpa sleeping peacefully on his back, with his legs in the air. So cute how he was leaning into his ear scratches, and pets. Loved how he laid right down on the seat cushion for the first time in Big Red. Jamie, I shared this video with my son, Todd! He said he wants to do the same thing and wants a van like your new red van!! He lives in Santa Cruz, California about 2 to 3 hours drive from where I live in Sonoma, California. He surfs and/or wing foils (a new sport getting popular) just about every day. You’d love it here in Northern California. Loads of expat Brits here too! Wish you could visit with Sherp so we could show you some good rambles!! Amazing what you’ve done already with the van! Nice video of van progress, looks wonderful... I am surprised that Sherpa just hangs around and doesn't go for a walk like my two would. The new grill and tires makes the outside look great, then you added the ladder and roof rack. Wow! Inside is looking great too. I love how Sherpa is bored while you build and how happy he is when riding in the van. Not so much in the car, but it was a ride. Rides are so important to my two like it is for Sherpa. You're going to have a very nice van to traveling around this winter.

So exciting Jamie! You have been working so hard for soo loong! Almost ready for your first new adventure in the *brilliant* new van. Big surprise final shot: the SHERPA van tag, yay! I had been wondering if you were able to keep the same tag. Yes, now it is the SHERPA van once again. I had to Google the word "chuffed" when you said: "I'm so chuffed, I can't stop looking at it!" as you took a shot of the van.😁 And *very pleased* (chuffed) I am to see you so happy after the hardships and disappointments you've had to endure. You've remained so positive throughout, Jamie, and have been a true inspiration to me, thank you. Sherpa has been such a good boi and so patient. Loved his nose wiggle at 5:35 when you asked him 'happy?' as he was looking out of the van at you. The nose wiggle and beautiful face said it all: "I love you, Dad!" 😘 I really enjoyed this long video showing all the details of putting the van together. Thank you for the many hours you devote to the videos and answering the comments. All of this is just lovely just 13 days until Sherpa's 10th birthday. (My grand nephew Ben will be 19 on the 3rd. Ya the black honeycomb and the raised red FORD letters look 10x’s better than having the stock grill, if you have CB radio’s in Scotland, you can always have a PA speaker added under the grill, makes for an interesting toy, and a good apocalypse backup plan!
