As soon as you said Wetline, I knew exactly what gel you was talking about! I love that gel, it gives me 4-5 day results too (probably longer, but I usually wash after 4-5 days)... Definitely recommend this over wetline, mainly cause the ingredients are better 😉

Only gel I used so far that doesn't dry my hair like crazy. It's lasts longer than my scalp lasts 😃 I sometimes pair it with the curl cream from African Pride and it's even better. I will try wetline one day for comparison. It's what I have in this week and my hair still looks like day 2 in hot humid FL and it's day 5 for me.

@@D.T_ so after a few months of trying it (and I found some other gels that work too) - yes. Many leave ins flake with it actually include one of their own. However it work well with their curl cream so I skip the leave in when I use it.

Maybe you should check what and how much leave-in you use before, and oil after. These two may not be compatible with the gels you use.

Looks great! My only thing is the amount you get for the price. I’d rather stick to wetline since you get a whole tub under $10. I’m looking for a wetline dupe that doesn’t eat up my leave in conditioner

Do you have high porosity hair, low porosity hair or medium? That would be helpful for me and deciding whether I want to use that African pride gel because it has coconut in it and coconut oil I know for sure makes my hair hard. I'm thinking coconut water would too.
