I see castor oil in ingredients. I recently bought shea moisture Jamaican black castor oil strengthen and restore leave-in conditioner, the one that also says Shea butter, peppermint, and apple cider vinegar. Sounds like all great things. And I like the texture and kind of what it does to my hair, and maybe castor oil is a good thing but man that stuff stinks!🤯 So, sorry if i missed it ,but whats the smell like (esp since jar says peaches!). smell like castor oil????🤞🤞

As a styler it’s not for me and I’ve tried all 3 types of Skala leave in.Too much build up as well and trying with a gel didn’t work so I use it as a conditioner. 3c/4a

I think you're using the wrong product from the brand, i have 3a curls and that leave in works personally better for my hair, but I'm pretty sure they have a leave in for more kinky hair Edit: I see people in the comments saying to use a gel, it works for me but idk if it works for you tho

I think my hair (just like yours in type density and porosity) liked it as a conditioner but not as just a leave in. Maybe I’ll try with extreme wet line too

I’ve been using products from Lola From Rio, I find that Brazilian haircare focuses more on volume than hold. Alot of the Brazilian hair influencers I follow tend to have huge hair vs that super defined look. I prefer the huge look for myself so I love cream stylers for that reason and that’s also why I looked into Brazilian haircare😁😁😁💁🏽‍♀️💁🏽‍♀️💁🏽‍♀️

A good rule of thumb is to drink 8 ounces of water for every hour that you are awake each day. I typically am awake 15 hours each day so I aim to drink 120 ounces of water every day. Thankfully, like this content creator I also work from home so the peeing doesnt bother me, I kinda like it bc it gives me the thought I am constantly flushing out toxins. I do work a 2nd job at night, which is bartending and the peeing doesnt bother me then either bc after 5 pm I slow down my water intake. I dont drink alcohol either, like at all. I think if I were to be a drinker I would aim for more than 120 ounces of water. I recently just started this water thing so not noticeable yet. Started like 5 days ago. I have always been a water drinker, my issue was I was never thirsty so my water intake has always been low. I could go all day without drinking anything. I have never been a soda drinker either or antthing else other than Gatorade zero but even then my intake of fluids was super low. I used to drink alcohol, prolly at an unhealthy rate although i was never an alcoholic or drunk or anything like that. Im sure after years of that and super low fluid intake destroyed my body. Thankfully it didnt harm my appearance. I have been alcohol free for about 1 year and 8 months though.

I have low porosity hair and I been struggling with my hair like idk if it’s straight or if it’s wavy. Front half is straight back of my head though is wavy. Also I recently did a test in which I wash my hair with just shampoo and conditioner and scrunch my hair while wet not adding any product to see if I’ll still get waves and my waves were still there. Also for the curly girl police out there I’m not claiming to have curly hair. Now I’m new to the whole curly routine and I’ve been avoiding heat next wash day i am using heat. I been over here rinsing my hair with extremely cold water and diffusing using the cold setting. I’m gonna use heat then apply product and see if I can get better waves.

I’ve been seeing a lot of people using this gel by itself and liking it but I like to use leave in before my gels and when I had this gel there was literally non leave in I had that worked with this geol every single one I tried made the product ball up or have a white residue that didn’t go away and ended up flaky. If anyone has found leave in that works with this gel pls let me know id be interested to try it
