kratom helped me get off my addiction to booze while i was working at a liquor store.. but then the kratom addiction was just as bad as the booze haha! i remember trying to get off the stuff and it felt like every bone in my body hurt without it.. couldnt sleep, it was all bad

I am a follower of Jesus too but I do believe in the inherent divinity of all beings. Kind of like the Hindus do. Yes some people may be possessed by darkness and I was even one of those people but I got delivered. God is “the Father of Lights.” James 1:17 so obviously our true nature is divine. Ephesians 4:6 states “God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.“

There is something so strong and beautiful about you, and I don't mean that in a suggestive way at all. You just strike me as a very honest and authentic person. A lot of what you have shared on your channel describes my experiences very well too. As for the christianity, I'm genuinely curious though ("devil's" advocate) : what would it take for you to think christianity is not a force for good either? In my view, growing up in the deep south and having a lot of exposure to these people, driving down I-95 and seeing the billboards around me that say things like: "ARE YOU GOING TO HEAVEN -- OR HELL?" living in a world like that, I think christians have really lost the plot, especially with regards to politics, israel, and the culture at large. Many churches throughout this country of all denominations have tolerated and even pushed this new world order agenda -- tolerating or even celebrating gays, beating the war drums for israel, sex abuse scandals, corruption, etc. and the judgmental, elitist nature of these people towards those outside the clique is just disgusting. Whenever someone points to such examples, christians always say "oh those aren't real christians." It's kind of ridiculous. I think if there was real power in it and it was a force for good, it would be so easily subverted. All my life, as a child and as an adult, I tried so hard to believe it and never felt anything. I never had prayers answered, fainted at church like I saw others do, etc. It really seems like a mass hypnosis or something. I've never even had a dream about jesus, and in fact I've been kind of traumatized by many experiences in churches, as well as reading the bible in private. The whole thing just gives a bad vibe all around. I appreciate that you turned away from the new age because that pushes an agenda too, but whenever I come across such testimonies, I kind of feel like you're just trading one cult for another. Sort of. I'm a pretty tolerant type, so I think if it does something for you, then it's fine. But the problem I have with it is when people are telling you they KNOW the christian view of the universe is what lies beyond when we die and all that. I just think there's an afterlife and many cultures have their own interpretations of at least certain parts of the story of what we're doing here, the human spirit, etc.

As I said in this video, I do not consider myself a Christian, nor do i affiliate with any organized religions or denominations- partly for the reasons you mentioned here. I follow Jesus, apply His teachings to my life, which I have learned how to live and love from. And it’s his example and these teachings that have completely changed me, improved my life, and are integral to me getting and staying sober. Jesus also was not into organized religion, and did many things to stand up against it in his day. Though I do believe Christianity has helped a lot of people and can be good for some, I personally view it as a man made construct, that ultimately is a tax exempt business model.

@@grace.at.sunrise Thank you for clarifying. I apologize, commenting before watching videos is a bad habit, although I have watched a handful of your long videos and soaked up every second. I assumed too much. Again, if following a certain example does something for you, there's no harm in it. I guess we all do that. Hell, in the modern day people idolize stupid degenerate celebrities. On another note: how long would you say it took for your hair to improve after quitting kratom? I'm a man so it might be different for me, however I was really surprised reading and hearing about women experiencing that side effect. I must have been really lucky in getting clean unadulterated kratom because I have virtually no withdrawals aside from stomach issues, but even that's not serious. No insomnia, restless legs, depression, anxiety, nothing. I think it might be because I replaced the strain I had taken for years with another one for a couple months, while simultaneously cutting down on how much I took. And I improved my diet long before quitting. I just went cold turkey a couple weeks ago and feel completely fine. I'm just waiting for my hair to improve and stomach to stabilize. There is no god but man. Following a religion or religious figure is the "easy way out". And I don't "follow" any man or woman. I'm open to advice, of course, but following any human completely is being purposely blind, I follow my own light, which is in my mind, and my own wisdom which is in my heart. So if I make a mistake I take responsibility, if I do something great, I humbly accept praise, even if it's my own....actually, I prefer my own thank accolades from others, because it keeps me humble rather than stupid.
