Its because they push down and away when he doesnt use the mouthpeice. So it seems that it making him have better balance but its just the guy thats pushing him. So when hes using the piece hes just pushing down, but when hes not hes pushing down and away to force him off balance. Its basicly a scam technic

I forgot it this morning on my last set of squats. Which was a higher rep, lower weight set when compared to my working set. I totally forgot to put my 6DS in and didn't notice. My first rep felt weird and less solid. Same with my second. Then it clicked! I forgot my mouth guard! Duh. I was noticeably less balanced without it. If nothing else, your teeth get protection.

Unco Chin i’ll admit that the benefits that it has are bullshit but it helps my teeth grinding problem. i would chipped a tooth if i didn’t have it in my workouts

A lot of placebo stuff can actually help. Even if it's fake, it's just the fact of having certain things you do before lifting that get your mind focused. So while the claims are horseshit, it can still have its place just for the mental aspect. It's like music, you don't need music to lift, but it does have an effect on the brain, which in turn can actually help you power through different things, whether lifting or improving your mood.
