There were 2 tabs that flip put from the middle guy to connect them better. And the lens has a flash and shutter sound which is neat.

I don't think he realized he mistransformed it. He missed the top flap as someone else mentioned (you can see it at 12:21 on the middle bot)but he also missed a couple of tabs on the middle bot that flip out from the back/under the arms to tab into the side of the other two bots and that makes the camera mod much more stable

Yeah he missed those steps, I have 3 versions of this set and they are incredibly solid. Love Newage stuff.

It does have 4 holes for the lens, took me a while to figure out, but there is another flap on Viewfinder right behind his head that you flip down for camera mode.

There are two tabs on the chest of the center bot that flip out and allow for much much better connection in camera mode. Also, there's a panel that flips out of the center bot's backpack that has two additional holes for the lens to attach to.

I love this character (with the G1 cartoon look) so I have lots of interpretations of him, I have all of the legends versions, I got the Planet X, the KFC and I would love to get the Fans Toys but it's very expensive. Maybe they will eventually rerelease him. Thanks for the review Mr. Skullface.

Man, I've been hoping/waiting for a G1 MP sized version of Reflector in these colors... MakeToys teased one on the back of the packaging of some of their other G2/toy repaints a year or two ago. These guys will have to do for now lol

Yep, the G1 was a mail away (I had one too). Did the legs on the end guys on yours get loose over time and kinda flop down even in camera mode? That's one of the things I remember most about it. :D

The way to get exclusive figures back in the day was mail away. But have you noticed ... that now basically EVERY figure we get is a mail away? Not just that we get them in the mail, but we are basically (e)mailing away for them as well! MIND BLOWN!

I remember getting mine from Mervyn's when I was a kid I remember seeing it going oh crap that's the guy from the cartoon and so my mom ended up getting it for me it was like 20 bucks or something
