Just happened across this and love it... I’ve lived in caravans with add ons since I was sixteen, I’m 46 now and I still don’t own much. Living close to nature seems to me to be the only sensible option. I love the creativity combined with the necessity to survive the seasonal changes. I wouldn’t have it any other way, all power to you.

@@andyskye01 thanks so much, I’ve just watched it and thought I’ve seen bits of the earlier part before, in different videos. It resonates strongly for me, living the way I do. Hearing the strong prejudice from “settled people “ my own family when I was a kid tried to tell me that people with dreadlocks were bad, and anyone born into title or lordship had better quality blood in their veins... as a kid I couldn’t understand that and hated it. Why’s the queen so special? Because she has superior blood...? Something happened then to me. I had a distance between me and my family. They’re all dead now, my daughter is nearly three and lives in a horsedrawn wagon with my ex. She and I are dear friends but are better off separate. We moved to Lapland six years ago and lived with the reindeer herders. It wasn’t for her so we left and returned home.. I miss northern Scandinavia a lot. Sorry for the life story! I always get carried away. I saw you at the Point I think, you were quiet and your partner was talking about how we are all animals, the dream of going horse or donkey drawn into the hills!? I totally agree about that even at 46, I don’t know how to fit in really... I don’t want to. I’m delighted to hear that your children made good! I make catapults now and use e-commerce to sell... it’s a weird life really. Have a look if you like, I’m Wildroots Wood on Instagram and Facebook... ugh, all so strange really. How do you live now? It’s been a pleasure to watch your content and it would be a pleasure to meet you one day. Will.

@@williamdeltufo7163 I love the way you have lived your life,at least you followed your heart and what I'd imagine a spiritual path.a true way I believe.i was quiet at the point as I believed I'd had a fair say in glen sheil and it was britts turn to speak.we never did realise the dream to go less material with horse or donkeys(the donkeys were what I've always wanted as I love them).me and britt are still great mates and live in same village on isle of skye.we will meet at some point, some things are mea t to be my friend.

Why build yr bender right by a main road though? Purely practical reasons??

@@andyskye01 Fckers woudn't let you be eh? No surprise there man. When was this vid shot btw? seems a wee while back. What you up to these days?

@@patkelly3966 the vid was shot in 93,between 93 and94 they were incredibly heavy on us.i think i was in prison 4 times for i believe the charge was 1865 criminal tresspass an obscure law that was originally used to stop dispossesed crofters returning to the land.we went on to beat a charge under the new criminal justice act which was imediatley turned to a guilty as they couldn't afford to be beaten under the new law.now i'm living in a wee house on the isle of skye.we raised 3 kids in the bender and home educated the kids.they went on to get a masters in art and philosophy and another is skipper of a fishing boat and final kid is front of house in a restraunt.

@@andyskye01 that's good to hear mate. Well done to yr kids too. mine will be leaving home over the next 2 - 3 years and I'm giving serious thought to hitting the road at that point. I've done the whole single parent, council flat thing for years now and four walls are getting too much again. .What a snidey, shite so-called law that criminal justice act was/is. One minute it was a Bill and the next, a very quietly enacted Law....all the best to you n yrs andy.
