Tony you are the man. Don't ever change. Love you and your playing just like you are. I am a retired pro-drummer and hope to get the chance to jam with you some day.

Got to see Beat on their 2nd show in Napa. If they are coming near where you are don’t miss out. The show was great and really fun. Since no Fripp cameras are ok and I got some great shots of Adrian using a power drill as a guitar pic!

Great interview. You have a great skill: listening to your guest and not ruining the flow. And it’s always wonderful to listen to Tony.

I have to say, I did not expect a Tony Levin album would have barbershop quartet songs. But I guess that's the point, gotta keep trying new things, nothing wrong with some surprises. Great interview as always. I got my ticket to see them in Minneapolis in November, can't wait.

How does Tony feel about Manhattan Specials? The carbonated espresso beverage.

Hah, let's see if he comes across this and answers! :)

That would really be awesome. I know they don't sell them everywhere & it's mostly a Brooklyn/Queens thing. I'm sure Mr. Levin has come across them in his travels. They really are very tasty. Too much caffeine & sugar though. I also think it would make a great band name. I don't know why I've never thought of that before. I'm sure there probably was a band called The Manhattan Specials at some time.

@@MakeWeirdMusic I heard the first track. Sounds amazing - can’t wait for the rest. Now I’ve heard that, I can pick up here - he’s fascinating. “Excuse Me” is the barbershop quarter Gabriel track he refers to. Addendum: subscribed. Saw a Vai/Fripp thing. Yeah 😊
