When I'm shopping I don't have little ones in the seat area so.... what I do is take the locking straps you would put around a child sitting there, loop them through the purse handle and clip them locked. If someone takes my purse, especially on the run, they are going to draw quite a bit of attention dragging the entire shopping cart with them that is connected to my purse. A family friend had her purse stolen out of her shopping cart also. This was at a local Costco. Some guy grabbed and ran. Luckily other shoppers saw what was happening and wrestled the guy to the ground and waited for the authorities. The kid seat buckle is an easy way to protect your purse...and remember to zip it shut also. Great video, Craig and Momdre.

Glenda B. I do the same thing! I also saw a jerk try to take a purse that had been clipped in the child buckle. He yanked that thing and hit himself with the cart and kind of tripped into it when it jerked the backend around. He didn’t get the purse but got a-lot of laughing!!! Some guy yelled smooth move exlax! There were 3 others of us in the aisle that couldn’t stop laughing!! He wasn’t caught but it got me to regularly fasten that belt every time.

Great tip! I have a carabiner that I use to clip my car keys to my purse. I also use it to clip my purse to my shopping cart as well; the strap on the carts is too wide to clip to my purse or sometimes the strap clip part is broken--so I am always covered :)

I do the same. It is make me comfortable. But I prefer taking my backpack or when I go shopping. That helps keep the stress of worrying about my purse as well.

It's so satisfyingly entertaining watching your moms shop with precise precision at alidis!! Quick funny when terry was looking for the squeeze basil my brain said it's by the small section of the veggie and organic fruit section above the stuff!! Terry it's right there!! We just had a remodel, nothing munched changed except 2 or 3 more isles, BUT they made the previous isles thinner. We had to laugh, they closed for 2 weeks for more compact isles. I always get the shopping cart with issues too. Once I got one that started screaming half way through the store, it was awful, and of course I couldn't stop laughing. I asked the cashier if I could fill out a repair order on the cart, she didn't think I was as funny as I did. At least I tried to spare the next person to get that cart the stress.

I've never had them before but y'all seem to like them. I've picked up the baked tofu twice now, and put it back down because I didn't know exactly what to do with it, so I'd be curious how your mom would use it. I still have the older/smaller Aldi and mine was in with the more specialty refrigerated items like all the fancy cheeses, etc. Also, the tube herbs/spices were on an end cap display right at the front of my store by the checkouts. Hope you found them. I love watching your Aldi trips together! Aldi is my happy place.
