I really love all four of them. In terms of flow it is Maya. but when we're talking about the bars Cocona hits harder this time. "Am I gift or a curse for the culture? When I spit with these words could it hurt you?" Aside from it being a reference from one of the JayZ joints, she was asking the people from the culture (hiphop and kpop). Most XG haters come from different spectrums of cultures. They have been accused of culture vultures by doing hiphop (rap). And same with the Kpop community (not generalizing) by telling them to go back to their own home country because they are Japanese and they are not Kpop. Simon Jakops (their Pd/CEO) created XG to transcend borders between different genres (pop, kpop, hiphop, rnb etc) and that's why we call their music X-pop now (crossovers). XG is coming to the US for their World 🌎 Tour in October 24’. The Alphaz went crazy last year and actually shocked 😳 #XG during the NYC ..HITC. JURIN cried because in S. Korea they have so many haters because of the xenophobia against primarily 🇯🇵. Since then they have been killing it in other Countries. They met up with Armani White in Malaysia and Maya was so surprised to hear him say he listens to their music. They supported each other at the venue they shared. You should watch some other interviews…when they allow the group to listen to US R&B, Hip Hop and Pop segments …even Country Artists they guessed everyone right!?? Cocona has been rapping since Elementary School and she was Complex with her skills at 13 years old. JURIN & COCONA’s swag is ridiculous. I can share with you that JURIN did a full skit with three other members where she is a pod cast host from Japan 🇯🇵 so I wouldn’t be surprised…about Shay Shay. (I watch it 😜 got to get the 🧃). Loved your commentary about #XG they haven’t announced the locations but they performed twice in LA last year and their reception was Crazy 😜. XG is just the flyest baddest crew out there today period. The 7 of them together are like a superhero team of pure raw talent and charisma. XG already performed at Head in the Clouds NY and LA last year. NY was their first ever U.S. performance and was praised by the music industry. If you watch videos of the performance even the 88 Rising/HITC staff and CEO came out to watch XG perform on the side of the stage the energy was literally electric. The crowd in NY went insane for XG some of the clips out there are nuts how loud they were singing along with them. Ya'll missed out man it was FIRE

They did a concert in China recently and XG was the only reason for the festival crowd to show up. As soon as XG finished their set the crowd started to leave the festival. As for the hip hop, rap, the R&B, there is no other group doing this! This what they love and the love they have for it is so evident in their songs and performances. The hate they get for CA and for rapping with blackcent, this is more Simon defending the girls and telling the haters to 'F' off. This who they are, not apologising, hip hop is central to their vision. The girls themselves in real life are sweet, non-confrontational but are wholeheartedly in for the ride, for the expressing to the world, who they are through their music. As for writing they all have a hand in it, every release they’re getting more practice in writing. Simon their Producer/CEO of XGALX and itsdayday a long time Korean rapper and Simon’s friend, are always helping them along the way. Especially itsdayday, Simon said that ever since he’s taken the role as mentor to them for rapping he can’t help but praise how far they’ve grown. I’m sure itsdayday is the one who handles most of the writing though but they’re training in writing all the time, I wouldn’t be surprised if they wrote quite a few of their lyrics.

I’m pretty sure the free styles are self written since they been doing that since they were trainees they would have 2-3 evaluation a month. The official music no they are written by Simon and chancellor. The in house choreographer is Jurin. She would make the choreo in those evaluation. For xg music they would get one or two choreo from different choreographers. Jurin would learn them and teach each member sometimes in groups of two. Jurin is in charge of each performance and works with the members for changes in different stages. It’s a sin not watching the dance practices. They are so good MBC made what is called the Tower Cam mostly used for XG performances
