I think the Omega spyglass don't need crystal to make and not sure what you did when setting up but you should have started with the multi tool, harvester, and a spyglass.

i think this normally happens when new maps come out ! i was having a lot of problems with modded scorched earth when it came out. it was continuously crashing, and i could barely get in, but i play on ps5. i’d just wait a couple days and try again if it’s still not working !
