New amazing tactical .22lr (Great firearm) TM-22 Review

I love .22 caliber firearms, I love that you can step away from the standard wood stock and explore the tacti-cool realm of so many different products.
The Derya TM-22 is a fine example of a modern .22. It is robust, reliable and most important FUN. This is a great full size firearm for those wanting to get into shooting sports.
If you are looking for a quality plinker or medium range hunting .22 consider this rifle as an option.

Love RIA firearms. Have 3 of their semi auto shotguns (VR60, VR80 and VRBP 100), and thinking about getting one of these rifles.

Unfortunately in Canada the shotgun versions have become prohibited, because basically they look scary to the firearms illiterate. The .22 rimfire models are amazing and have both the look and feel of a real deal tacticool rifle. Bonus is it shoots very well, will post full review once I get some more rounds through it. Very good purchase IMHO, better than GSG or similar. Thanks for watching

Have this rifle and the gsg 16 , love both of them. Beware of the mag release button getting stripped on the Derya I had mine fall apart the first two days of having it and had to wait two months for the part to come in

I will keep my out for this for sure. Haven’t put many rounds through it yet with it being hunting season. Both are fine firearms and loads of cheap fun 😁

Have you had consistent failure to feed on the second round? I notice 50% of the time the second round seems to fail feeding

No it’s worked pretty much flawless, albeit we haven’t fired more than 200 rounds. Is it only on the second round? Does it happen with all magazines? Maybe check the inside of the mag see if there’s some burring on the inside near the feed ramps. Seems to me there would be something stopping the rounds being pushed up with a fully compressed spring maybe. Let me know what you find out.

What is that thing that you but on the hand guard close to the muzzle? Is the barrel free floating?

There is a short pistol grip attached to the hand guard, it’s like 2.5”. Yes the barrel is completely free floating.

Bought this .22 a year ago and shoots well and never had a problem .Have an Amazon bought scope on it for 40$ but yet have zero'd it in but the trigger is smooth as butter and like it so far... well built and doesn't feel cheap like other's... has a bit of heft and feels like a gun...other's in comparison feel plastic and cheap and like a toy... So far so good ... Never had a problem with ammo other than the Remington thunderbolt cheap bulk ammo...not that bad but never an issue with CCI mini mags etc @@theguywithbeardgunsandgear

That particular .22 came from That Hunting Store, it’s in the Ottawa area. They are very cool .22s and thus far stand up to most abuse.

I’ve done it, I’ve never read anything that says not to, don’t see anything regarding the firing mech that looks too fragile. Having said that if I was doing a lot of dry firing I would get a snap cap or dummy round.
